Looking for an multi Guild tool

Hi

I am trying to make my own addon for some guild information.
I have a few things that I would like it to do from the beginning.

1. I want it to post MOTD from my main guild or even from all guilds in the chat window.

2 I want to get an message in the chat when someone joins og leave the guild, and if it is posseble who invitet or kicked the person.

I want a config that allowes you to choose witch guilds MOTD you would like to see, and if you would like to see join and leave messages.

Would it be best to seperate the two things into two files?

If you have any ideas where i should look for info on how to create an addon, or you have an idea on how I should do it ill be happy.

There are some, I think MailR, TESO Ingame Messenger - TIM, Shissu's Guild Tools, ...

I didn't test guild mail feature, so I can't recommend which one is the best.

I am currently using MailR and TIM, both can handle guild mails.

MailR uses the standard mail interface and has filters for guild ranks and online / offline status.

TIM uses its own interface for this and has filters for online / offline status and offline for less or more than x days. It also provides some more features for guild specific stuff but needs a little training period to get used to it. You will also need to apply a small patch because the last official version of TIM can't handle larger mail volumes (50+) without getting you kicked by the game for spam.

If you just want to send guild mails to all your members and dont need that offline for x days filter, give MailR a try. If you need more guild stuff features, consider TIM or Shissu's Guild Tools.
