Downloads broken(kinda)

Problem: a lot of downloads directly from the site are automatically getting blocked by chrome(dont know about other browsers) with this message


basically telling me it got blocked because your website got hacked and might be compromised.

i think baertram also experienced this?

Very strange, we havent gotten any reports from Google and we are on their safe browsing site status. https://transparencyreport.google.co...soui.com&hl=en

I had one computer that this was happening on for me on (no issues on my work computer or my laptop, just an issue on my gaming desktop) and noticed chrome was at an older version. I clicked on the three dots on the top right, went to help and "about google chrome". After about a min it showed chrome being updated and prompted me to restart chrome. Now downloads from here aren't marked as dangerous. Wondering if maybe theres a bad update going about?

maybe, i've now manually checked for a chrome update and no longer get the warning.

Hi Dolby, thanks for checking that. I had my chrome updated and even not used as I reported this in the forum post.
It was my Firefox browser.

But I can download the same addon now again without any issues.

Maybe it was just a Windows Defender problem accross several browsers, that got fixed.

I had the same issue with Chrome blocking Harven's Improved Skills. It would not even let me click through to the link for problems with download and my Chrome is up to date. I switched to Safari and had no problems downloading.

Basically it seems to be Microsoft Denfender AntiVirus then (if you guys all use that) that says something is a virus there. But the zip files do not even contain any executables, only txt and lua files often.
