Find more tab returns no result

Hi,

Yesterday i installed Minon manager and i managed to install the addon i wanted.

Today i noticed many problems but i found a answer to each reading the forum (does not retrieve all addon installed, no need to login each time, automatic good folder finding in dev...), except for one :

Today, i cant install any new addon. The "Find more" returns nothing.... yesterday it worked well but today..nothing.

Im am completely new to your..."network" maybe do you have maintenance too ? or think like that ? if yes sorry, i cant read everything.

I hope Minion manager will evolve and become better. Even if it is still buggy, i like this alterative to curse or to nexus manager....

Does the search field under find more have anything under it? Do you have categories: all selected? Can you take a picture of your find more screen?

You have a left over search... try deleting craft.

Also choose Categories: ALL from the drop down menu on the left side.

Thats very strange, is that box still blank if you close Minion and open it back up?

Yes it stay blank.

I tryed to reinstall the app... to close it and reopen many time... still same thing....

When you click the Home icon on the top right does the featured and popular addons list show for you?

What happens if you click on an AddOn you have installed under the installed tab?

I believe its an issue with your windows user name since it uses a non English character.

The first use is fine because its using the directory path in memory. Then when minion saves that directory path with the special character in the minion.xml and then reads it when you relaunch minion it fails causing a domino effect of failures.

We are working on a fix to support directory paths that use special characters.

Just to clarify its just because of where ESO stores its AddOns since its under your user directory the file path minion uses has your username with the é in it.

-> i have nothing left since i deleted everything and reinstalled the app. I did this to try to solve the "display not every installed addon" problem.


Ok so.. ill wait for a fix.

An update has been pushed live that should fix this issue.
  • Please delete your minion.xml
  • Start Minion and then it should prompt you to update.
  • When Minion restarts from the update it should act like new you'll need to enter your addon path again.
  • Then it should continue to work. I tested it my self by chaning the username to the same as what you have on my windows machine.
