Help with new install

Hi there, I wonder if you lovely people in the community could help me out please.

My PC recently 'sploded so I splashed out and bought a new one after a two week break of no ESO (twitch, twitch). However I'm now back and playing, and most things are working okay. The Addons took a while to get right, I was having a proper 'mare with placement as I use multiple drives.

Here's the latest quirk...

In ESO itself I have the Addons running and they're functioning perfectly. I also have Minion installed. I didn't think to actually check that it was seeing the Addons okay.

I thought I hadn't had a popup for a week or so telling me an Addon had been updated by Minion, so I went to check and Minion says I don't have any Addons installed...

So here's where Minion says it is looking, in Minion under Game AddOn Folder Path:

C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live

Sure enough if I look in:

C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns

Then all the Addons I use are there.

I also have two folders here:

C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
(which has no Addons in at all)

and

C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\liveeu\AddOns
(which has three of my Addons in but not the rest).

So I guess I'm asking how can Minion not be looking after my Addons and yet ESO is working with them? And how can I get Minion to look after my Addons and not screw up in ESO?

Hope you're able to help and I hope what I've said makes sense to someone!!!

Thanks,

-h-

The liveEU folde ris the old one which was used before One Tamriel came out so you could remove it.

Minion is looking into the normal user directory afaik and not into your OneDrive folder.
Close Minion, then move your addons over to

C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns

from

C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns

Start Minion again and choose to detect everything new in the settings (right top corner -> icon for settings).
MAybe you're able to let the addons in the OneDrive foler and just detect the game and everything new via the Minion settings.

Hope this helps.

For some reason that's not working. I've tried multiple times and it's still not having it.

Any more thoughts, please? Anyone?

Try this, maybe it helps:
http://www.esoui.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7416

Please use the Minion forum here then:
http://www.esoui.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=183
Perhaps you'll find more assistance in there.

Try the 32bit vesion of minion.
Start minion as administartor.
Try to reset the game checks inside minion and choose your game folder again, top right corner.
Allow minion in your firewall rules and exclude it from antivirus checks.

Then post your minion.log file and minion.xml file if theer are still no addons shown inside minion.
The Minion support should be able to tell you what's wrong then.

Cheers for this, I will give it a go. Might take me a couple of days to get back to you.
