I have a better idea.

We need an addon that sets the npc voice volume bar to moving up by 10 when we hit a hotkey. Have it cycle three times. Like if I set the "Y" key as the hot key. I would press Y and npc volume would go from 0 to 10. Press Y again and 10 to 20. Press Y again and 20 to 0. rinse repeat

Why need a hot key? Because when you get stuck in a cutscene (like the vampire quest) you cannot reach your volume bar without loosing the cutscene. And if you are like me you have your npc voice volume set to zero all the time so the repetitious npcs don't drive you insane. Then you miss out on npc's you wanted to hear or cutscene npcs because forgot to turn the npc volume back on.

Or just the fact that some npcs are recorded way to loud and others way to quiet. It would be nice if we could quickly change volume without having to exit the conversation and keep reajusting the volume bar to get it exact. And like I said, cutscenes you cannot return to.
