Addon request : Naming pet ?

I have absolutely no idea if my request is doable or logic or important enough BUT i ask it anyway

So we are all given the possibility to rename our pets, but the new name never appears.

Is there a way to replace the generic name by the name we gave them ?

aka Red pulp wolf = Ruby ?

I have some of my pets in the house, but entering to see the generic names makes me remove them.

So do you want the name thingy at the top of the screen to show your pet's nickname? If so, that is possible, though other people won't see that.

No my idea was that when i look at my pet i can see on him the name the game let me gave to him.

But i think its not doable at all.

I just wonder why we can rename them, and our house, if its for nothing.

Actually we all have the same generic pet name .... for rp purpose its quite strange

But totally playable so as i said it was just a silly question :P

I haven't messed with pets but: you're saying you can rename them but it doesn't show up in house? Sounds more like a bug that needs fixed.

In our houses all pets keep the generic names, not the *renamed* one, i can confirm it.
If you think its a bug i can then bug it on eso forums.

They probably just forgot to incorporate that; probably should report it as a bug.

yes i was gonna request the same thing so others can see our renamed pet names above them like us. Is it possible?

For yourself: yes. For others: no. Hence bug reporting.
