Display AvA rank in group list

I'd like to see the AvA rank (preferably the icon) of each group member in the group list (in a new column or if that's not possible in the column near the character level).

I think it should be doable, the rank can be determined with

GetUnitAvARank("groupXX")

and there are add-ons that change the member lists (e.g. Thurisaz Guild Info changes the quild rooster) but I don't know how to do that myself
