Sorcerer pet single key bind override

Greetings all,

I am curious if anyone knows whether it is possible to hook into the keybind for the Sorcerer pet attack keybind in order to bypass the need to press left mouse.

I am assuming it must not be possible without a macro of some kind, otherwise someone would have an addon by now. But it would be nice to be able to just kit a single keybind to tell your pets to attack the current reticle target.

Thanks!

Thing is, that would just let you set a multi-key bind for the pet attack function. The function itself still requires you to press left mouse after you have whatever you set as the pet attack binding held down.

ZOS made this function weird. I'm not sure you can bypass the need to press the mouse button after holding the binding. It's the only ability that works that way.

I had searched the code for this and couldn't find anything related to the pet or the keybind that helped so I ended in using a macro on my G15 keyboard which pressed the key and clicked mouse 1 afterwards.
As this seems not to be allowed somehow I'm playing without macros now and it is annoying but works
