So was I was not able to reproduce this.
Could you please provide me steps what you do after login/reloadui to get this error.
e.g. do not not open the inventory, directly talk to fence, error appears as the fence sell tab is shown.
Or open the inventory first, go to the quest/junk/... tab, then close the inventory. Talk to fence, open fence sell tab, error is shown.

Thank you.

Can't quite catch it. It turns out to be intermittent (i.e., doesn't happen /every/ time with fences when I started keeping track) and happens sometimes with normal merchants, too. Looks like it triggers on some inventory contents or the like, not what I do prior, though. I will try to catch it, but if there are any ways to debug, would be nice.

You can enable the debug and debugspam settings for AF but it's only chat output then. It wont help you much I guess. But it would help me if you know how to reproduce the error, you tun that on, reloadui and use LibDebugLogger as well!

Do a reloadui again directly after the error happened and send me the log file LibDebugLogger.lua from your SV + date and time the error happened + steps how to reproduce it per email to [email protected]
I'd be able to see some info from it then.

I am unable to determine when it happens. It's apparently either totally random, or depends on some specific item(s) (being recently acquired? - I have not been able to get it trigger again after it just did, but it happens about one time in fifty I access any kind of merchants (fence, normal merchants, assistant, whoever).

How do I enable debugspam? I only see a debug on/off toggle in the AF settings. ... It does seem pretty spammy though

Sorry debugspam was anoher addon, debug is all you are able to enabled.

All I can guess about "how to rebuild the error" would be opening the inventory and changing the main filters like armor, weapons etc. and then go to a fence and see if the error triggers.
From the error message I can only see that the Current filter was 8 which means it go todo with the main filter ITEM_TYPE_DISPLAY_CATEGORY_QUEST -> Means the quest tab.
Try to open the quest tab and let it bethe last opened at the invenory. Then close the inventory and do not open any other inventory or bank. Go to fence, talk to him/her and see if this triggers the error maybe.

Ok, looks like that (though at least one previous case had last tab not the quest items but craftbag). Couldn't catch it again until your latest update, 'cause the active tab was getting reset after ESO update. Mailed you the debug info.

So the steps to reproduce it on my side are what after login?
Open inventory and choose quests
Close inv and talk to fence vendor?
Or something else to do?

The debug files do not tell me the steps and please also always name me the date and time you tested and got the error message so I can find it in the debug files as they can get really long (several days e.g.) !!!

Oh. It was the latest thing in the debug file (about 3:05 PM my time, UTC+3), and that was the stuff mentioned above, yes -- open inventory, choose quests, close inventory, talk to fence vendor and select their selling interface

Thanks for all the info! Will have a look how I can rebuild and fix this. Got something similar for the craftbag already as it had happened there as well
