Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v6.0.5 and our next Chapter: Greymoor! Explore the icy mountains and wild forests of the Nords as you venture forth into Western Skyrim. The land is harsh and unforgiving, much like many of its people and its lords. High King Svargim welcomes you to the capital city of Solitude gruffly, but you’ll have the opportunity to earn the respect of the Jarls and the swordthanes of Western Skyrim—if you survive.

In addition to climbing over the frozen peaks of Western Skyrim, you’ll have the opportunity to delve into its darkest ruins and greatest secrets. Find the hidden entrances to legendary Blackreach, the subterranean realm beneath the lands of Tamriel and explore the darkling caves and forgotten ruins deep below Western Skyrim’s surface. Two wildly different lands, stacked one on top of the other, each threatening … and threatened.

But there is more to Greymoor than defeating evil! Try your hand at our brand new Antiquities system to unearth a ton of legendary relics scattered throughout Tamriel. Between furnishings, Mythic items, a mount, and even siege weapons, there truly is something for everyone. If battle is more your thing, get together with your strongest allies to take on Kyne’s Aegis, our newest 12-player Trial.

Greymoor also features 10 new item sets (including Perfected versions only found in the Veteran Kyne’s Aegis Trial), and of course new Collectibles, Dyes, and Titles. Exploring Blackreach also uncovers new crafting ingredients!

Update 26, which is a free update as part of the base game, includes several other additions and features as well. First, Vampires have received significant changes this update, with a focus on improving the entire experience as a Vampire. If you currently play a Vampire, don’t worry: any experience required for progressing the Skill Line itself has not changed, and you will keep your current ranks. Update 26 also brings several optimizations to both the server and client to improve game performance. You’ll also find several updates to Imperial City, and the addition of Precision Editing Mode for housing enthusiasts.

Finally, we’re excited to welcome all of our Russian players who can enjoy localized Russian text in-game with this update. You can expect this update to be approximately 6.64GB. Thank you, and enjoy your time in Greymoor!

General
  • You will now receive the correct error message when losing an internet connection.
  • Improved the reliability and accuracy of quest-related icons.
  • Added additional messaging for active in-game events so it’s clear when an event is active, and how much time is left.
  • Adjusted the position of the "Go To Entrance" button in the House Purchase screen to avoid collisions with long zone names.
  • Fixed an issue where some supported text characters would not display correctly in the Japanese game client.
  • Fixed an issue where the Removing from Area timer would be short instead of long with a completed dungeon.
  • Updated the descriptive text for the Reach-Mage’s Ferocity to better match the style of similar items.
  • Fixed an issue where Heroism and Timidity were lacking their own icons in the Alchemy UI.

Gamepad Mode
  • Fixed multiple UI errors that could occur when using the Automatic setting for Gamepad mode and swapping directly between Gamepad and Keyboard menus.
  • Fixed an issue where a social list, such as a Guild Roster updating, would cause your position to be reset in the list.
  • Fixed an issue where going to a menu directly from an Outfit Station would not warn you about losing your changes.
  • Fixed a UI error that could occur when leaving an Outfit Station by opening your map.

Guilds & Guild Functionality
  • Added Russian as a language option to the Guild Finder.
  • Fixed an issue where the selected guild in the Guild Store screen would sometimes change without your input.
  • Fixed an issue where items could appear in the Guild Store Listing screen with a 100+ month duration when they were actually nearing expiration.

Help & Tutorials
  • Searching in the help section will no longer result in some entries showing up as duplicates.
  • Created new help entries for Werewolves and Vampires.

Maps
  • Adjusted the areas where the Abah’s Landing city map will display when outside but near the city.

Tooltips
  • Updated the tooltip text for the Undaunted skill line to be more informative.
  • Added tooltip text to lockpicks.

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v5.3.4 and the start of the Dark Heart of Skyrim with the Harrowstorm DLC game pack! Harrowstorm introduces two new 4-player dungeons – Icereach and Unhallowed Grave – in addition to a number of new item sets and collectibles. Our biggest focus for this update was further improving game performance, with an emphasis on frame rate stability, ultimately resulting in fewer drops in your game’s framerate. The combat changes you’ll see support this goal, which you can read more about in this forum post.

Additionally, please take note for this update, we’re refreshing our patching and file manifest data to remove duplicate files and older data that is no longer needed. This will result in major improvements to load times, streaming of assets, reliability of asset loads, and a reduction of space taken up by the client on your hard drive. In order to achieve this, you will be required to re-download the entirety of the game. To this end, the size of this update is 64.22 GB. General
  • Fixed an issue where your character was hidden behind the interface while interacting with the outfit station in Clockwork City while in Gamepad Mode.
  • A tutorial will now pop up when using puzzle cubes to give helpful hints on how they function.
  • The Elder Scrolls Online taskbar icon on PC clients will now light up if something time sensitive (ready checks, combat, etc.) occurs in-game when it’s not being focused.
  • Fixed an issue where the force lock chance could display as more than 100%.
  • Fixed an issue where long achievement category names would get cut off.
  • Added hints to the tooltip of all Indrik pets to clarify how they are acquired.
  • Adjusted the icons for the Sailor’s Warning Festival Grog and High Hrothgar Festival Mints to be less… weird.

Alliance War
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent Battleground team members' position indicators from appearing on the overhead compass.

  • Tooltips for Crown Crate rewards can now be viewed from the reward cards.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the UI to disappear and Pacrooti to overstay his welcome after closing his menu.

Gamepad Mode
  • Horizontal scroll lists, like those found in crafting menus, will now continue to scroll when holding a directional input.
  • Fixed a UI error that could occur when rapidly selling items to a vendor.
  • Fixed an issue where the Buy Crowns button could overlap with your Crown Gem amount.
  • Fixed an issue where the Get Me Unstuck text would not appear correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the Enchanting screen would stop displaying a checkmark next to a selected Rune after leaving and coming back into the station.

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v5.2.5 and the Dragonhold DLC Game Pack, featuring the conclusion of the Season of the Dragon! Dragonhold introduces not only the new zone of Southern Elsweyr, but also adds two world bosses, two delves, and new Dragon Hunt areas (complete with fearsome Frost and Storm Dragons). We’ve also added several new collectibles, item sets, achievements, and titles for you to acquire.

The base game introduces our updated Activity Finder for dungeons and Battlegrounds, and also focuses heavily on the first part of the performance improvements for ESO with an overhaul of how memory is managed. Along with updating 3-piece item sets, you’ll find we’ve made several improvements to Wardens, Sorcerers, and Dragonknights in the realm of identity, adjusted some values of Damage over Time abilities, and more.

  • Updated the "Travel to Leader" prompt to display like other notifications on the HUD so it doesn't hide time sensitive notifications, such as ready checks.

  • Fixed a few cases of confusing verbiage in the Deconstruction and Enchanting extraction screens.

Gamepad Mode
  • Fixed an issue where the "Removing from area…" timer would overlap with buff trackers.
  • Fixed a UI error that could occur in the Crown Store when backing out of gifting a product.
  • Fixed an issue where quests with multiple currency rewards would overlap the item rewards.
  • The touchpad will now open the map when using a PS4 controller on the Mac game client.

Gameplay
  • Combat text will now display the damage absorbed by absorb shields you place on other players.

Guilds & Guild Functionality
  • Fixed an issue where guild bank categories other than "All" would appear empty if deposit permissions were lost.
  • Added additional text to the listing tab in the guild store UI when you can't access it because you aren't a member of the guild
  • An alert will now display when you are promoted or demoted in a guild.
  • Fixed an issue where declined/revoked guild invites would display an alert saying the player left the guild.

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v5.1.5 and the Scalebreaker DLC game pack! In Scalebreaker, you’ll discover two new 4-player dungeons – Moongrave Fane and Lair of Maarselok – in addition to a number of new item sets and collectibles. The base game introduces a number of quality of life improvements you’ll enjoy including multi-crafting, multi-bidding, Undaunted Key improvements, and more! UI

General
  • Made several modifications to crafting station UIs to support multi-crafting.
  • Wayshrine labels now appear on the top of the map after they have been discovered.
  • Updated the error message that displays when the Activity Finder queue is full to be more descriptive.
  • Fixed an issue where containers would appear empty if you looted them in first person mode.
  • Added a display of your current gold to accepting C.O.D. mails.

Alliance War

  • Fixed an issue where furniture category icons temporarily turned into food icons during the crafting animation.

Gamepad Mode
  • Fixed an issue where you could unintentionally fire the ability bound to the B button when backing out of a menu.
  • Fixed an issue where you could not update a guild trader bid without having more gold than the total bid in your guild bank (rather than just the difference between the old bid and the new bid).
  • Fixed an issue where the camera would still be blurry when attempting to preview furniture from a vendor.
  • Fixed an issue where purchasing a collectible from a vendor would not refresh the store window to show that the collectible was purchased, and couldn't be bought again.
  • Fixed an issue where controller template B could not open the bait menu for fishing.
  • Fixed an issue where Hold D-pad keybinds wouldn’t display properly in Help menus.
  • Fixed an issue that occasionally caused ingredients for a recipe to not properly display at crafting stations.
  • Fixed an issue where 6 ingredient recipes would cause UI elements to overlap at crafting stations.
  • Sorting contents from an NPC’s store will now function identically to how it sorts in the keyboard UI.

Gameplay
  • A player’s name is now included in the alert that displays when someone joins your group.
  • Fixed an issue where the ability bar would sometimes not display in combat after recently adding an ability to it (specifically with the automatic setting).
  • Fixed an issue where the Maelstrom leaderboards would display more than 100 scores.
  • After using the /stuck command, your cooldown to use it again will now display properly.
  • Healing towards a Healing Negation debuff will now display in Combat Text.

Guild Finder
  • Fixed an issue in the Guild Finder UI where long Guild and player names would not display properly.
  • Fixed an issue where expired guild applications could linger in the applications list.
  • Made additional improvements to the Guild Finder search results to deprioritize less active guilds.

Guilds & Guild Functionality
  • Fixed an issue in the Guild Store UI where making a search, changing the filters, and then changing pages would perform a search using the new filter settings instead of changing pages on the old filter settings as intended.
  • Guild traders can no longer be hired for the week after the owning guild disbands. The trader can still be bid on for the next week.
  • Changed the guild history update mechanism from client polling to server-initiated updates to help address performance issues. The history will update approximately once per minute.
  • Mails notifying players of winning a guild kiosk now include the name of the winning guild.
  • Improved the performance of the guild history window when looking at a large number of events.

Help & Tutorials
  • The Help category "Activity Finder" is now properly named "Group and Activity Finder".
  • Updated the hint for the Apple-Bobbing Cauldron Memento to reflect that it now requires Collectible Fragments, rather than Runebox Fragments, to assemble.
  • Fixed an issue where you might get tutorial prompts even if you had already been through a tutorial quest.
  • Added a Help Entry for the Imperial City Celebration.

Hey everyone,

I'm proud to announce that ESO Farm-Buddy version 1.0.0 has been released now.
I wrote a similar AddOn for World of Warcraft and have now adopted it to Elder Scrolls Online.



The features of ESO Farm-Buddy are:
  • Track item counts in your bag or crafting bag
  • Show a notification if the goal is reached
  • Visual display with progress bars
  • If you loot more than the defined goal count, a bonus value is displayed
  • Choose between different progress bar styles
  • Track items from your inventory by right click the item
  • Track items from the chat by right click the item link
  • Track items from the guild traders by right click the item

I'm currently no longer playing ESO (haven't been for quite a while now) and my addons are not being supported. One day I may return, and they will be supported once more, but until then, bugs and issues will not be fixed.
It's been a while since I've released any sort of update for Joker, largely due to various real-life things going on (including my daughter's birth (yay!)); today I'm pleased to release v4.0.0 (as well as immediately follow-ups 4.1.0 and 4.1.1), which includes a complete rewrite of Joker from the ground up.

One of the biggest differences in v4+ is that Joker now handles loading more dynamically (or, atleast as much as ESO will allow us to do so), and the Settings panel is now much more user-friendly (with some additional customization options available soon). In general, Joker offers richer functionality (such as the ability to now filter jokes: /joke argonian will randomly choose a joke related to an argonian) while benchmarking approx 60% faster than previous versions. It was already fast, now it's just faster and less janky. Internally, Joker was rebuilt with the intent to streamline future joke category and feature additions, and there are a variety of neat features already in the pipeline.

Version 4.1.0+, also now available, includes new joke additions - like the Lord of the Rings category! LotR jokes are included as part of the random /joke pool by default, and are directly accessible with the /lotr and /joke-lotr commands.

Version 4.2.0+, also now available, includes Curses! Exasperated? Throw out a /curse (or '/curse Mark' because Mark deserves it!). Curses are meant to be more amusing than anything, and are SFW - all curses are pulled from Elder Scrolls, Star Wars & Trek, LotR, other nerdy series, and vintage pop culture.
