When testing mods that require data collection (work and spare time) please verify Quest Pins show up in other locations. Quest Map has no issues or bugs at this time. All available pins are showing. If I find time to play and do the quests then I will update LibQuestData. Quest Map does not have the quest information locally in the mod anymore. So Quest Map itself doesn't need updated.

When you are done doing the quests please provide your LibQuestData file as shown below (and as mentioned on the description page) as you might have more time to play them me.

Uncompleted Quests in Craglorn need a little Cleaning up. I just finished doing all the regular quests here and several were left on the map as "Uncompleted" After verifying I had indeed finished all of them I marked them as hidden so i could grab list from the saved vars.

Am I misunderstanding how this addon works? What I was hoping for was to see active quests on the world map i.e. Tamriel, but it only seems to work in zones/regions.

So how come you don't show quests that are available and that are uncompleted?

Currently, we all have to go check the uncompleted quest to find out if there available or not this is very bother some.

Quest Map and other mods like it have never drawn on that map and ZOS does not give authors an easy way to do so. THis isn't a feature that will be added. All mods like this one will only draw on the individual zone.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Just a quick reminder. This mod does not contain quest data. That is all provided by LibQuestData. LibQuestData automatically tracks quests you have done that need updated. However, I have only received data from a few users (less then 5) and even then in German and French. I have a hard time getting all the information in all languages. It is easier for me to use data from foreign languages when I have data from people who play in English.

This kind of mod requires long laborious hours of work to do manually. So there is no way without spending about 42 weeks, 5 days a week, 8 hours day for me to do it myself. It would still take time to clean up all the quests and pins even if I received a massive amount of user data.

In the end the one request I can not grant, although I do have a method in place, is that I can not automate when quests are and are not available depending on what you have and have not done.

What that means is, if you have done some kind of main quest and the breadcrumb quest is no longer available. The other thing is when some other kinds of quests (although there are less of these) that might be available only after you do something first. Like the quest for Eyevea. You have to have rank 5 in the Mages Guild to do all the steps.

There is basically no automation. If you want more automation then please ask ZOS to make the quest data something we can data mine including requirements.

Until that happens Quest Map will only display a pin on the map where the quest has been accepted by someone. Some data is old an I can't verify if the quest is even located there anymore because of changes. Simply for the fact that I have to do that in my spare time which I don't have any, and I have to do the quest on a new character that has not done the quest yet.

Users don't have spare time either but LibQuestData tracks what you do while you are doing what you choose, the quests you want to do, while you are playing. That way I don't have to ask or seem demanding of anyone's time. Without imposing on your time in any way, while you do what you want, LibQuestData collects some useful information.

I will do my best to use data provided by users if any come in.

That didn't work, I think there's a conflict with another addon, I will investigate this.

If you think a quest should not be yellow what is the quest and what color do you think it should be?

But before you post anything just read previous comments. People post all the time that they feel a certain quest should be a certain color because they know that it's a Daily Quest or whatever. I've already answered the question before. Once more data is collected so that I have the information that I need then the quest will be classified differently.

People keep thinking that Quest map by the original author recorded a whole bunch of information and it didn't. It recorded just the x and y location. I started recording other information when I took over. So all 2000 plus quests have to be done over before I have the information for all of them.

I wanted to report it missing as a bug but the command: /qmgetpos says Invalid Command and doesn't work.

That isn't a bug. You wouldn't report a missing quest that way. I didn't realize that's how the author worded that. Thanks for mentioning that.

You upload your LibQuestData information as mentioned on the description page for Quest Map to the GitHub location at the link provided. Then when I have time I update LibQuestData since Quest Map doesn't have quest data anymore.

I don't have access to change the FAQ and the Wiki that CaptainBlagbird made for his author portal.

I did just look in the files and I do have a location for that quest. Some quests can be obtained several places. I don't know why ZOS does that. I can look into it when I have time after I have the LibQuestData file.

Love your addon to replace multiple other addons, good job

When I activate "Daily" in filters, it pops up a list with multiple times the same label (Alchemist Writ etc).
Any idea what causes this and if it's only for me or something wrong in the addon?
