Updating Quest Information

Most of the quest information has been added or updated by mass adding quests from the SavedVariables file. However, I am no longer accepting information that way unless it is for a new chapter. If you have a specific quest pin you would like updated provide the information at LibQuestData:Github/22.

Description
Adds pins for completed and uncompleted quests to the map. (Including not yet started quests!)

NOTE: Map pins are never added to the Tamriel map. Not by QuestMap or HarvestMap.

Major change: Quest Map no longer has internal quest information and instead uses LibQuestData.

Please do not submit `QuestMapScout` files as the information is not formatted for what Quest Map uses. If you want to contribute then upload your LibQuestData to the GitHub link above under "Special Request".

Requirements

To be able to use this add-on you'll need to install these libraries too:
LibMapData - LibMapData

LibQuestData

LibMapPins

LibGPS - LibGPS
NOTE LibGPS Requires: LibMapPing, LibDebugLogger, LibChatMessage so be sure to download them as well. As always read the authors description page for more information.

These add-ons are optional:
LibAddonMenu - For changing Quest Map settings

LibMsgWin - For '/qmlist' command feature (see below)

Features

Uses new functions introduced in API update 6 to automatically get a list of completed quests, that means you can start using this add-on at any time/level and it will "know" which quests you have completed before.
Tooltip shows the quest name and additional info (Cadwell's Almanac quest, skill point reward)
Manually (un)hide ((un)mark as completed) quest pins by clicking on it
Map pin filters for completed, uncompleted, started and manually hidden quests (you can find them to the right of the map after clicking on the funnel icon)
Subfilters to only display Cadwell's Almanac quests and/or quests that reward skill points
Different map pin filter settings for PvP and PvE possible (e.g. quests not displayed in Cyrodiil but still in other zones)
Changable pin size and pin level
Languages supported: English / German / French / Russian / Polish

Commands (enter in chat input)

Open settings menu

/questmap
Manually (un)hide all quest of the currently displayed map (zone/subzone/dungeon/etc.):

/qm hide

/qm unhide
Display list of quests for the current map:

/qmlist *arg*

*arg* can be 'completed', 'uncompleted', 'hidden', 'started', 'cadwell', 'skill' or empty (for last used argument)

/qmgetpos
(Not for reporting quests) Display your current location

Notes, Please read!

Make sure you install the add-on before starting up ESO, else the pin icon files may not be loaded.
There are quests that are missable. Yes I know that sucks, but the missable quests are only (I hope) quests that introduce you to a new region (e.g. quest "To Firsthold"), that's why it's possible to have some few unfinished quests with no related quest giver in each zone.

If you want to help improve this add-on, LibQuestData automatically tracks updates for itself.

QuadroTony Banned Forum posts: 828 File comments: 3866 Uploads: 3	we need go to google and fan sites to know which quests we need to unlock quest with skillpoint as a reward its very important for leveling alts for hirelings for example or fast leveling any chance you add all prerequisite quests too? you can google it or i can try to gather and post it here also pls add an option to disable main quest pins even if you look for quest reward pins because main quest pins flooded on the location with multiple pins, every place where Prophet can appear to you - its mean it can be ANY place because its appear when you reach checkpoint of your levels - per 5 so no reason to display this pins on the main map at all Last edited by QuadroTony : 07/11/15 at 02:14 PM.

Did you install the add-on while in-game? If so that causes the pins to not display correctly. Can't comment on the error though, maybe it's related?

I just tested this and didn't have a problem running both.

What do you mean by "it doesn't work at all now"? Is there an error message, does the game crash, no pins showing or anything else?

Before once i logged in, i would go to settings and click on Quests (Uncompleted) with cadwells and skill point enabled..once i close the map i would freeze ( also i could enable/disable and other setting and would not crash..) Also, i would like to thank you as well.. im doing cads silver and gold and this addon makes it so easy. I cleared one zone, before it started making me crash yesterday, in about two hours or less ( the cadwells quest in that zone ). I have plenty of alts to level.. so thank you very much! I also got the settings from Lyonheart now, but still couldn't reproduce the crash/freeze, so it has to be something else that's different for my game..

I made a new attempt at fixing the crash/freeze bug, could anyone that has the v1.5-freeze-problem try this version please? Dropbox link Thanks for your help
