Do remember to make a copy in case of conflicts or trolls.. cough cough...

LuaSerializer is now on GitHub https://github.com/alt22247/LuaSerializer

Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction:

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

In game API
1. To get TTC's price info simply do TamrielTradeCentrePrice:GetPriceInfo(itemLink)
This will return a TamrielTradeCentre_PriceInfo Object
Code:
{
       Avg,
       Max,
       Min,
       EntryCount, --# of listings
       AmountCount, --total # of items
SuggestedPrice --suggested price low. Suggested high = SuggestedPrice * 1.25
}
2. To get TTC's internal item information (various internal Ids)
TamrielTradeCentre_ItemInfo:New(itemLink)

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between average/suggested price vs sales average?
Average/suggested price are calculated using listing data while sales average is calculated using actual sales data. Both listing and sales data are collected from all TTC users across all guilds.

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

Detailed Instruction
FAQ
4.18 Release Log:
1. Added back the price to chat language options
2. Added a steam button in Client's start options
3. Opening a second instance of the client will now bring the running instance to front instead of panic

4.17 Release Log:
1. Fixed an UI error for Spanish client

4.16 Release Log:
1. Adopts to the new guild history API that was introduced in U41

Known issues:
1. Font change that came with U41 broke the unicode encoding. TTC's additional language setting will cause the game to freeze. As a result all language related settings are removed from the settings page until this is fixed.

2. No longer adds divider if no price info is available

Client 3.24 Release Notes:

3. Added Elsweyr's trader locations
4. Fixed an issue causing last updated string to show up in native client's locale instead of target locale when using price to chat with a different locale than the native one.

Client 3.23 Release Notes:
1. Fixed two compatibility issues with Awesome Guild Store (more to come later)
a) Price not showing in store page when AGS is enabled
b) UI error when trying to purchage item when AGS is enabled
2. Updated the logic for personal listings to be consistant with community scanned ones. Last seen for personal listings will only get updated when user opens the guild store and click on the listings tab or when user lists new item/remove existing item from the store. (Used to be based on user's last login. However ZOS's API seems to skip some entries and thus causing the cached version to be unreliable. Causes more confusion than good to use the login time due to this)
3. Fixed an issue causing price to chat to show up multiple times when the language of the current client's locale is selected
4. Uses sub menu for price to chat when there is more than one language selected
5. Removed the one time guild store scan due to point 2

P.S. due to some backend structure change the saved settings will be reset. Your price data will stay safely since its downloaded from the server.

Client 3.22 Release Notes:
1. Wrathstone API update
2. Store full scan code completely revamped. New scan logic will retry on failure (too many searches). In case of the game force close the store UI TTC will attempt to resume the scan the next time store is opened.
3. Added the ability to do price to chat in different languages regardless of client's locale

Known issue: The new ESO Guild Store UI has a bug which it will not update the UI listings when the search is initiated with API calls. Thus you are going to see the search result panel stay the same thru out the whole scan process.

P.S. New items will be added in batch. Thanks for your patience.

5. other small fixes

Client 3.10 Release Notes:
1. Uses file lock instead of Mutex since Avast hates Mutex after fall creator's update. TTC should be able to live happily with Avast again (Tested on Win 10 fall creator and Win 7 latest with Avast Free)

can you record down your current time + time zone and then execute this in game

/script d(GetTimeStamp())

then post the result here plz?

thanks
Sure 10:07 PM Pacific standard time Script Result: 1500354397

And the only way I've found to update ingame prices is to delete saved variables then relaunch ESO
The number looks right. Did you start the client after the game or before the game? If you started it after the game then a reloadUI would be required.
Before that's whats odd, everything is working as it should except for the ingame prices
Ingame prices stopped updating again today, I had to reinstall TTC again to get the updated prices. What is the difference between successfully updated item price and you have the latest pricing table in the TTC client window? every time the in game price stops updating the client says you have the latest pricing table even if the prices in game say updated x number of days ago. reinstalling TTC isn't a big deal but I'd like to know what is causing in game prices to suddenly stop updating while everything else works
I can't think of anything that might cause this to happen.

successfully updated item price means new item price data has been downloaded. you have the latest pricing table means the one you have on your PC is the same as the one on server (latest)

Can you help me to collect some data when it happens again so that I can further investigate this?

1. record down the time (including timezone)
2. in game /script d(GetTimeStamp())
3. a copy of \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\PriceTable.lua
4. open up \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\UserSettings.txt and try to see if two lines similar to
SET LastPlatform "Live"
SET LastRealm "NA Megaserver"
exists, and what are the values (or you can just send me the file if you are comfortable. The only personal information in that file is your account name. The rest are your in game settings such as Graphic settings and Control settings)
5. in your browser go to
https://us.tamrieltradecentre.com/ap...eClientVersion
and
https://eu.tamrieltradecentre.com/ap...eClientVersion
(FF, Chrome, Edge will just show you the value, IE will prompt you to download a file. You can open the file with Notepad)
and let me know the values.

I know that's lots of steps.
Appreciate your help on this particular issue.
just re emailed the requested info for some reason it didn't go through earlier to [email protected]

Oh good heavens. What a pain antivirus software is. That was exactly it. Thank you.

(I wondered why the Updater folder was empty...)

It's puzzling that a Windows data sync app would even be noticed by the nVidia recording engine.

If there's any more information or assistance I can provide, please let me know. I'm a developer by trade, so I know how much of a pain troubleshooting can be. Thank you for your efforts!

For some reason I did not receive the email you sent. But here are the answers to your questions:

Are you using Direct3D rendering for the TTC client's UI?
Not that im aware of.

does the TTC client "layer itself on top of" the ESO game process?
Nope. TTC doesn't even recognize ESO's game process nor does it recognize if its UI's position. All it does is reading specified lua and text files and upload the data to server

My guess is that recording software might have a hard time detecting if something is on full screen mode. That's the case for windows built in game recording tool. I had to turn on full screen recording for it to work. My guess is that the recording tool will first see if there is any window exists, if yes then use that window as target, if not then use full screen. You can try to minimize TTC's window (it will go into your bottom right tray) and see if it helps.

And about the exception, my guess is that the auto updater (\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\Client\Updater\AutoUpdate.exe) got removed by your anti virus.

Question TTC Windows client preventing me from recording in-game videos

Greetings. Firstly, thank you for TTC! For years I lamented that there was no global guild store search. I do have a minor problem though. I have an nVidia video card, and I occasionally use nVidia's built-in ShadowPlay functionality to save in-game videos when something funny happens. However, if I am running the Tamriel Trade Centre Windows client (which I always am), then it grabs and retains control of the nVidia ShadowPlay recording mechanism. Normally within the game I should see an overlaid circular icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, indicating that nVidia is ready to save a recording. The ShadowPlay icon never appears in the game. Rather, it appears in the TTC client window:

If I then try to save a video from within the game, I get the expected overlay notification, except that it's supposed to save the last 5 minutes of gameplay, not 1-40 seconds. When I view the video itself, it shows an image of the Tamriel Trade Centre window, not ESO.

or

I closed the TTC client, and when I switched back to the game the ShadowPlay icon did appear in the corner where it was supposed to be:

If I then press the hotkey to save a video, it does in fact save the last 5 minutes of gameplay, and the video shows ESO like it's supposed to:

However, when I try to relaunch the TTC client, it throws an error. I initially thought that the fact that ESO was running caused the error - but I quit ESO, and the Launcher, and the TTC client is still throwing the error.

Not sure what's going on with the error, but that's actually not the reason for this e-mail; the TTC client preventing me from recording in-game videos is. Are you using Direct3D rendering for the TTC client's UI, or something along those lines? Or perhaps, does the TTC client "layer itself on top of" the ESO game process? It's puzzling that a Windows data sync app would even be noticed by the nVidia recording engine.

If there's any more information or assistance I can provide, please let me know. I'm a developer by trade, so I know how much of a pain troubleshooting can be. Thank you for your efforts!

can you record down your current time + time zone and then execute this in game

/script d(GetTimeStamp())

then post the result here plz?

Re: Re: Re: Client auto crash

Thank you for helping me solve my problem via email. Just so everyone knows, the problem was on my end with a .NET corruption. TTC admin was very kind enough to help me troubleshoot the issue. Amazing team for an amazing addon.

By stopped working do you mean you see a pink error message box with some error information or is it the windows one?

First please check your anti-virus's setting. Some people mentioned that Avast's latest update made some changes to folder permissions

And if that doesn't help please do the following:

If its the TTC one can you send me the error log found under

\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\ErrorLog\{Date of Error}.log

If its the windows one and there is no TTC error log you would need to open up Event Viewer (in start, type in Event Viewer and the first app that pops up is the one) and go to Windows Logs -> Application -> Find the error entry matches the time which the crash takes place, it should say Faulting application name: Client.exe and faulting application path points to TTC's Client.exe.

send the info to [email protected] plz?

by settings do you mean saved data? And what makes you believe TTC was the one caused it?

here are some events that would wipe your addon and ESO settings data:

1. ESO fatal crash. If ESO fatal crashed all of your addon's data will be in a corrupted written state. The next time ESO tries to load them it will find that the file is corrupted so it will reset everything back to default
2. PC force shutdown or crash. The file will be in a half written state which is also considered corrupted and the same thing would happen as mentioned above.

TTC's client only reads your global settings file for server region and TTC's own saved variable file for data. It doesn't write anything. The addon doesn't have the permission to write or corrupt other addon's data so its highly unlikely that TTC destroyed them.

Hi, can you try to log into the game first and see if this is still an issue?
