This library is obsolete now. Do not use it anymore and remove it from your addons.
Please use global variables and the txt files of addons/libs' ## AddOnVersion: <unsignedInteger> to detect other addons/libs, and add dependencies properly via your own addons/libs txt file's tag ## (OptionalDependsOn): <otherAddonName> >= <OtherAddOnsAddOnVersion>

Build your own addon and your own library. No one obliged you to use any of those addons. They are proposed to us. We have no rights over those.

And your tone is actually very insulting, and selfish.

First, I am sorry to have offended you. I opine that the 3 questions which I asked are reasonable. And it seems that there has been a trend recently of deprecating libraries, which potentially can have a rather wide and significant impact. Nonetheless, I accept that obsolecscence is inevitable. It is an inherent nuisance (to say the least), not only with regard to libraries, but with regard to all software developed for any purpose.

Please recognize that your specific message "appealing" to the community of players for help was neither an announcement nor a request. It was and is a demand (!) -- one which is very rude, arrogant, and outrageous. Although, if I may say so, it was not surprising, considering the attitude which you have often expressed about those who use your software. There is nothing inherently wrong with sending a message via the zone Chat channel. It is the message that was sent which inspired the reactions that you received here.

Naturally, you are not the first programmer to be inept at communicating with the users of their software. I have my own sour experiences in doing that. So, we need to let bygones be bygones, and figure out what we need to do to resolve this issue as expeditiously as possible.

i didnt see it so much as a demand, but more of an imperative so your addons don't break.

Exactly, thats also why I have informed the esoui devs community to react before the change happens (offline, not ingame), e.g. here too:
[For addon devs: Soon removed/replaced addons/libraries]
-> This should be the place to have a look at from time to time. Tell me guys, if you got a similar lib or change and I'll add it there.

But I'm not able to reach all players offline, that's why it informs you ingame.
