Guild Sales Master for Master Merchant  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: Release 1.8.3
by: dopiate, hawkeye1889
Guild Sales Master for Master Merchant 1.8.2

Use the built in filter for the program to load and run faster!

A HUGE thanks to Philgo68 for making this release 1.x happen.
I want to thank him for contributing a much better parsing routine to this project!

This addon will let you view all salea from all the guilds you belong to.

This includes:
  • Being able to see ALL the sales for a specific day.
  • Being able to see all sales of an item on a specific day or multiple days
  • Being able to see sales per guild member on a specific day or multiple days
  • Day selection has been unlocked
  • Export Items search results to csv
  • Support for multiple accounts! (2 max)
  • All columns are sort-able.
(see example below)

Check an item for current prices and where it's selling very easily!

You can unzip it and run it from anywhere. (I suggest you leave it in the root of "live" and make a shortcut.)

If you select !All Members be prepared to WAIT, the sheer amount of data is a bit overwhelming :-)

All sales in a specific guild

All sales by a specific member (myself as the example) over a date range

All sales of a specific item over a date range

You can run the program from anywhere you want. It does not take up LUA memory and it does not write to the hard drive at all. It does not save data.

You will find the program in your Addon's folder.

From there you can move the program anywhere you want. I suggest you create a shortcut to the file so updates are easier.

-d
Release 1.6.3 - MINOR changes and it works perfectly with Master Merchant 3.0

Release 1.8.2 - fixed a data import error which could cause some items to show up incorrectly

Release 1.8.1 - changed the PPU shown depending if its over 1000 gold it rounds up so sorting is useful for high priced items
---------------- changed the location of the filter so it loads on the center of the screen
---------------- changed the look of the program (just cosmetic)

Release 1.8 - added an option to filter out dates (will make searching and loading faster!)
-------------- If you use this filter then 0 = all data, any other number will be the filter (I use 10 days for example)
-------------- by default the filter is set to 0 (load all data)

Release 1.7.1 - Fixed small errors not noticed on release 1.7
Release 1.7.1 - Cleaned up some report formatting

Release 1.7 - All exporting of report enabled!

Release 1.6.1 - small fixes to exporting
Release 1.6 - Export for Item Results

You can now export Item searches to a CSV file.

You can not yet do this with User searches.

Release 1.5 .2 - further fixes for stability
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can run the program from anywhere you want. It does not take up LUA memory and it does not write to the hard drive at all.

You will find the program in your Addon's folder.

From there you can move the program anywhere you want. I suggest you create a shortcut to the file so updates are easier.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

older changes:

Release 1.1 - bug fix with Kiosk always coming up false now fixed.
Release 1.2 - fixed a bug created buy the 1.1 fix
Release 1.3 - fixed a bug where crafting recipes were not getting colored and sorted properly.
Release 1.4 - fixed a bug where you could not move the windows during startup/sorting
Release 1.5 - fixed a long standing bug where not all sold items were listed
Release 1.5 - fixed a long standing bug where not all the guild members were listed
Release 1.5 .1 - fixed a bug where the program would crash soon after loading items

is there a limit to the number of sales the program displays or it just doesn't pull all sales regardless? Im trying to reproduce the bug but can't

WOW -- not the reason I came to the forums here but thank you Phinix for putting it so nicely!

You made my day :-)

For these types there is generally no expectation of praise or reward, no obsession over competition driven by some need for exclusivity or ownership, as it is the journey itself which motivates them. They are teachers as much as they are students, and the joy they derive from what they do is as much about their own sense of accomplishment as it is the knowledge that others might have found something they did interesting or beneficial in some way.

Then, there are those of The Sickness; individuals who despite whatever knowledge they may or may not actually posses, feel compelled for whatever reason to relate to the world through conflict, hostility, and cynical attacks. Rather than showing how they could do better or helping inspire others to improve, they feel the need to exalt their own imagined superior knowledge by staging dramatic and emotion-driven confrontations, generally for the purpose of elevating their own sense of self-importance, fixated to the point of obsession on comparison and competition, and always in a way that is unnecessarily exclusive, condescending, and destructive.

Little good ever comes of the actions of the later but as they say, "haters gonna hate."

Best to leave the trolls of the internet to their misery and self-loathing until they can muster a more constructive way to vent their cry for emotional recognition. If they actually managed to evolve some basic human decency, the former would certainly be happy to help, or listen at least to what they have to say.

I firmly believe that people who act this way are genuinely hurting, perhaps being emotionally scarred from a life of trauma or neglect. But realistically, WHO ISN'T? It certainly isn't a license to act with selfish disrespect, and doing so will only perpetuate their own cycle of isolation which is ultimately the source of their bitterness and resentment.

Because really, who cares what a person does or doesn't know when they choose to share (or not) in a way that is offensive? I'd rather party with an enlightened amateur than a know-it-all ***hole any day.

Ironically, I often find the work of "amateurs" tends to be more holistically rewarding and generally useful than the specialized offerings of elitism, being largely free from an all-consuming profit or vanity motive, particularly when others of like mind work together to produce a finished product that is not only professional, but INSPIRED.

Seems we're both wondering the same thing. :P

You don't need to be a pro tho... there are reams of example code out there you can literally cut & paste into your own which will provide the functionality needed to make your tools useful.
As you look very pro, may be you could just do what you want ?

I am not a professional coder and a lot of time was put into this program.

This is all done for free and your reply makes me wonder why I even make my programs publicly available.

btw yes it's slow - just set your filter after the first login to 5 days or less and it speeds up from then on.

Mind if I rant a bit?

While I appreciate dOpiate's time and efforts I have to say a few things here:

This stand-alone app is daft on multiple levels!

Firstly it's SLOOOOOOW when these kinds of sorts should be lightning fast even using algorithms found in the public domain since the late 1980's. OMG, it feels like I'm running it in interpreted BASIC... ON THE COMMODORE 64!!! No I take that back, and I apologize... My BASIC code on the C64 is absolutely faster than this! (and no, I am NOT exaggerating or kidding!) :O

Was the UI designed by a [ unacceptable phrase ~ Cairenn ] or is it that the coder is unaware of the THOUSANDS of free and/or open source API toolkits which allow the designer to implement resizable windows with redistributable column space? Holy cow!!! We have 4k monitors now and this tiny little UI is frozen and locked at 12 rows of listview text lines of something like 80 characters of total width. WOW! Just WOW!

And what's with all the useless functionality? Why on Earth would anyone want an itemized listview of each individual sale across an entire Guild or multiple guilds? This is ACTUALLY LESS FUNCTIONALITY than the game's own Guild Roster List - which will at least tell you the total sales and purchases for any given user over a predefined time-span on a per-Guild basis.

I dunno, Maybe I'm just agitated with in-game n00b-ishness... Like healers running ahead of everyone in a 12-man veteran trial, starting the boss, and getting everyone killed - but this app is of about the same competency level! What, did Leeroy Jenkins take to coding ESO addons or something? Guild Sales Master certainly feels like it!

UG!

Reports, Reports, Reports

I finally got all the reports setup and they are exportable.

Here is an example of the guild ADoT, all sales from 5.22-5.23 sorted by total sales price.

Hopefully they all work right, if not just let me know.

I tried different types of searches, small and big, one user or many users, but the data never gets transferred into the CSV file that gets saved.

Best Regards
I just noticed you said users -- it only does ITEMS exports right now.

I'll get to users next.

-d
Yea thats exactly it. Thanks!

I can't seem to reproduce this error - the default export folder is C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\GSM Reports

Make sure that folder is there.

Also you did a search correct? set a to and from date and then search for an item?

Let me know,
