This simple and lightweight addon makes traveling to other zones easy as never before.
Instead of having to select a player that you want to travel to like in similar addons it takes a different approach and you just need to right click on the zone in the location tab of the map screen.
In the background it will scan your group, friend list and guild rosters for players that you can jump to and then attempts to travel to the target location via them.
The list of players is sorted by source, champion points and level, meaning it will look for the highest level group member, then friend and finally guild member to travel to.
It also automatically detects errors and tries to jump to a different player, or wait for new targets when there are none left.

Slash commands:
/tp (aliases: /travel, /goto)
Without arguments the command will teleport you to your group leader while you are in a group and not the leader yourself, or to your current zone otherwise.
If you start typing anything as an argument, it will autocomplete to zone names or players that are available as jump targets. It will also accept partial names and complete them internally to the first item in the auto complete list.

Dependencies:
Make sure to install the following required libraries in order to use EasyTravel.

LibSlashCommander - Adds advanced autocompletion for slash commands
LibCustomMenu - Creates context menus for addons
LibGetText - Provides localization via gettext and Weblate
LibChatMessage - Simplifies displaying chat messages

Hi. This is unusual. The slashcommands are actually converted to lowercase by the game itself, so not sure why it wouldn't work for you. Maybe try it with all other addons disabled and see if it persists.

It only scans when it needs to, which is when you type the /tp command in chat, right click on a zone name on the map screen or while it waits for a target when trying to jump to a zone without suitable players (and then only in response to player zone change events).

This is the intended behavior. Let me quote the addon description:

Without arguments the command will teleport you to your group leader while you are in a group and not the leader yourself, or to your current zone otherwise.

EDIT: Seems there is really a bug where group members are not correctly recognized as jump targets. Will look into that. Thanks for taking the time to try a few things via discord @joshmiller83

I believe I found reason. If group member is not in one of the main zone, like in delve or outlaw refuge, easy travel will get that player ignored while building player list. Is there something we can do to fix this? Or is ther reason easy travel ignore player not in main zone?

Not sure to be honest. The status window is a default UI element. Changing it's position might cause a lot of issues with other parts of the UI. I'll definitly check it out as I like the idea, but no promises.

well, whatever you changed for the CWC update, I LOVE it! Many thanks for figuring out how to let me see my character while the countdown/travel happens!

Darkstride Forum posts: 0 File comments: 74 Uploads: 0	Clockwork City DLC This is a great addon and for the most part it still works just fine in the new DLC. The only exception is right-clicking on the new zone name (Clockwork City) doesn't do anything at all. It never starts to search for a target to travel to, doesn't give the dialog that it can't find someone or anything. Other than that new zone, still going strong.
