Overview

This addon tracks your sloted actions that have duration attributes or over time effects, reminds you to re-invoke your actions, and makes you good at performing rotations.

Features
  • Show current action duration remaining seconds in action bar,
  • Show a shift bar of swapped action hints above their original action bar position,
  • Auto move player resource bars upward when they are conflicted with shift bar,
  • Support actions without duration attribute but have DOT effects such as Desctructive Touch or other timed effect such as Elemental Drain,
  • Keep the ending 0.0 hints blinking for a little longer after duration finished, so they don't get lost easily,
  • Switch correspongding timer hints for current reticle over target,
  • Support actions stackable effect counting such as nightblade's Grim Focus and its morphs,
  • Append shift bar on top of ultimate button to show third ability bar such as overload bar action timer hints,
  • Override action duration with target debuff effect, e.g. change Beast Trap's 60s timeout to 6s timeout after triggered.

Yep, Baertram explained it nicely

Ok. I found some time to test the addons.

Here are the changes/additions that i propose:

1. Debuff tracking doesn't take into account multiple debuff applications and doesn't check if the target is dead/offline. While the later part could be hard/impossible to implement properly, the current implementation is quite confusing. Especially for long debuffs, like major breach from surprise attack.

While i'd leave multiple targets tracking for more specialized addons like Srendarr, i'd definitely as least tried to find a way to check if the target with player's debuff even exist for as long as the duration is shown to the player.

2. While being an awesome idea the 'shift bar' takes screen space right above the action bar which many people aready use for something else (like hp bar). I'd suggest to an option to disable the bar entirely (which i already did by simple commenting out the relevant part in adr.OnUpdate()) and an option to move it on the screen/change it's vertical offset only. Moving the bar on the screen might be against the design (which is brilliant), so at least the option to disable it, while keeping the buff tracking on the action bar would be very welcome.

3. An option to change the "width" of the duration border for better visibility would be very easy to implement and very much welcome as well.

4.
Thank you for your explanation. I think it might be helpful to let people know how many light or heavy attacks need to do to get a proc.
I'm thinking about a label with the number of light attacks made while the relevant buff is on in the center of the icon for the ability.

When you are out of resources (magica, stamina) and the cooldown/timer is shown the icon will stay lit. This makes it hard to know when you can cast the skill again.

The abilitys relentless focus/merciles resolve are Nightblade abilities where you need to activate the skill, do 4 light or heavy attacks afterwards, then the ability procs and gives you a powerfull 2nd ability (placed at the same action slot -> the icon just turns into another one which will be able for "release" for some seconds (I think it was 10s).

But there is already some addon like Srendarr I think which will play a sound if the proc is ready. And the ion of the skill will chaneg to a slightly silver one, and there is a border "running around" the skill to indicate the proc visually too (maybe this is by help of Srendarr too, I'm not sure if this is the vanilla UI there).

I don't know what is the countdown you mentioned. If it's the 1s cast time or 2s stun time, then I suspect that people don't care it because it's not related with the necessary to re-perform just after the duration.
The countdown I am referring to is for stun. If you fire it off to soon, it will not stun, that's all.

You some kind of coding wizard? :O Nice to see that it could be fixed!

If you are looking for something else to add or code more customization is always nice to have! Like an option to lower the opacity of the cooldown bar or just add a toggle to hide it completely and a setting to change the font for the text.

I don't know what is the countdown you mentioned. If it's the 1s cast time or 2s stun time, then I suspect that people don't care it because it's not related with the necessary to re-perform just after the duration.

This might be zenimax bug, because there is no events difference between cancel and confirm for ground abilities. However, you might want to use addon "Smart Cast" or set "Quick Cast Ground Abilities" to "On" in Settings>GamePlay to avoid this situation.
Yea, I think I might enable quick cast. It will help both my efficiency and DPS. It's not a major issue either but thanks for looking into it!

This might be zenimax bug, because there is no events difference between cancel and confirm for ground abilities. However, you might want to use addon "Smart Cast" or set "Quick Cast Ground Abilities" to "On" in Settings>GamePlay to avoid this situation.

What would you like to make this addon compatible with Wykkyd Enhanced HUD? Make this addon's shift action bar movable? The cooldown color option has been added into settings in v1.04.
Nice!

I don't know if it's possible but what I would like to see happen is that the HP, Magica and Stamina bars are slightly moved up in order to make room for your addon Wykkyd's Toolbar and RAETIA InfoHub can move the compass down to make room for their bars up top of the screen so I was hoping that the same would be possible to do with the resource bars.
