This addon will display in the chat window the items that you and your group members have looted.

It is for people who just want a standalone no-frills group loot logging feature without any unwanted baggage. This is a tiny addon (a mere couple of kilobytes) with virtually zero footprint.

Group Loot Notifier will only show notable items: specifically, set items of any color quality, consumables or trophies of blue quality or better (e.g., motifs, recipes, and treasure maps), and any item of purple quality or better.

I know he looted it because he traded it to me afterwards. Is this happening to anyone else?

Try to join big guild and all your group mates will be your friends ))

Good idea! Try to use Info Panel add-on with enabled "Achievement updates" option. It is really helpful!

Picking up or getting quest items from NPCs doesn't report in the chat window with that one

Yeah, they still show in the chat window when they drop though. I use another addon for Group Loot messages, but I still like the functionality of the "loot history" button. Anyways, not a big deal.
