Arkadius' Trade Tools  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.0.0
by: Arkadius, Aldanga, Verbalinkontinenz
Arkadius' Trade Tools is a modular framework with the goal to provide traders with useful trading tools and information and to help trade guild masters managing their guilds. Each added module will extend the functionality of ATT in some way. Modules come as their own addons and can therefore simply be deactivated via the addons menu if not needed.

Currently there are the following modules:
  • Sales
    • Visual: Tabbed window
    • Functionality: Collects sales from the player's guilds and displays them as a list which can be filtered in various ways. The information gained from these sales is used in multiple ways:
      • Guild rosters are extended by two additional columns, Purchases and Sales, which display the particular volume per guild member and selected time frame
      • Item tooltips are extended by the average price and a graph displaying the price development. The time frame for these calculations (1-30 days) can manually be selected.
      • Item price statistics can be inserted into chat. For non-English clients there is an option to post the statistics in English.
      • When browsing guild stores, listings also display the average price of the given item, so the player can see if it's over or underpriced

Sales are stored for up to 30 days, depending on per-guild user settings. Most features can be enabled or disabled in the user settings.

  • Purchases
    • Visual: Tabbed window
    • Functionality: Saves purchases the player makes from guild traders and displays them as a list. This module may especially be useful for resellers to remember what they paid for a particular item. Purchases can be saved for up to 30 days.

  • Statistics
    • Visual: Tabbed window
    • Functionality: Allows other modules to send in statistic information which is then displayed as an assembled list. (currently only used by Sales)

  • Exports
    • Visual: Tabbed window
    • Functionality: Allows saving of guild-level sales data for export to CSV.

The community is free to write additional modules. Currently following external modules are known:
  • My Donation:
    • Adds a tabbed window which tracks your own deposits into guildbanks (up to 365 days) and enhances your overview, whether you met a guilds requirement not only on the sales side.

Currently supported languages:
  • English
  • German
  • French
  • Russian

Slash commands:
  • /att
Toggle the visiblity of the main window

Addtional notes:
  • All data is stored per megaserver

Current Todo List/Feature Requests:
  • Adding craft cost support for more master writ types.
  • More customization for Deal Finder (margin, total sales, etc.)
  • Review of how writs are priced. Currently this is done by type and quality, but certain event writs don't really price well using that model. Traits and style mats can significantly impact craft cost, which can also affect price.
  • Review and rework of the sales window checkboxes as they provide information of limited value since the guild history API changes.
  • Investigate removing outliers from visible sales data. This could severely impact performance negatively, so no promises on this one.

Many thanks to my NA alpha testers, who catch way too many bugs and provide great feedback and feature suggestions:

v2.0.0
  • [NEW] Required dependencies: LibHistoire, LibDebugLogger

Ah! This makes so much more sense. Should have thought of this. Thank you for the clarification.

Can you provide a screenshot please? Id say its the percentage of sales, which have been sold internal (by another guild member).
Of course:
As you can see the 1st guild shows an intern value of 11.45% - whereas the other guilds are at 0%. The thing is while The 0% make sense the 11% don't. This is the guild with the most traffic there is - so my contributions for the past week (I was away for most of it) should not be in any percentage over 1% really...

Thank you very much for the thoughtful and informative answer. I didn't mean to imply that I thought the author(s) left it out, out of accident or laziness. I did not know the performance impact of that filter.

That was nearly a deal-breaker for me. I still use this for EU because I can't use MM there & on NA, but *sorely* miss the deal filter. That functionality turned out to be surprisingly important once it was no longer there.
The main goal of ATT has been beeing performance friendly, in coding and in functionality, since back in that time another addon started blocking chars from login after beeing overloaded with sales information and having to reset it over and over again, which mainly has been an issue for the powersellers and trade guild gm which were in a couple of bigger guilds which have a lot of sales, and sometimes even selling on alt accounts as well.

That's also why some functionalities have been left out, it didnt happen by accident. The deal range filter is a performance eater, as well as usually no affine trader would as example just put an average price from an addon automatically into the listing, also no affine trader would use 3 months old prices as reference for his actual prices. This is also why ATT came with a purchase list, for reseller as example, so you are better able to remember what you bought for which price. The author as well as the alpha and beta testers were all trade guild gm and officers of bigger guilds and affine traders, which had to deal performance issues and also were able to decide and overthink, which functionalities are usefull and which can be left out.

I know Arkadius is, despite the fact he quit on playing ESO, still working on this addon and on new functionalities and users whishes, so there is the chance there will come such options, but also keep in mind, that the missing deal range filter didn't happen by accident or lazyness.

I haven't really looked at it closely, but is there a way to tell which sales are from the trader and which sales are from keeps held in Cyrodil? Just curious.

I'm hoping for an update soon, the add-on does work just fine as is, but people are less likely to try and use an addon listed as "out of date" in the menu, and less users means less data to work with for prices.

Thanks again for that awesome tool !
That's actually not how ATT or MM work. They scan the guilds that you are in, so they function quite well for you even if you're the only one using them. Only TTC (Tamriel Trade Center) requires many active users to make it function as it pulls from scans and search results conducted by its users. The limiting factor for both ATT and MM is how good your trade guilds are rather than how many people use the addon.

Edit: Response to the bolded portion

Also I noticed a previous comment indicating that per guild week sales totals is not included? Is that correct? As the other user mentioned, nearly all trading guilds use that as a metric, so is kind of.. essential.
per guild sales are included.

ATT veraltet?

Jungs wie siehts aus, macht ihr ein Update für Summerset?
Oder, weil das Addon läuft ja eh weiter, wie kann man das an Summerset anpassen, is doch eh nur ne nummer zu ändern.
