This is my fork of the very useful, but apparently abandoned addon
The Elder Bar by Eldrni. Since the last version of The Elder Bar (TEB) was 10.3.0, I started numbering versions of The Elder Bar Reloaded from 11.0.0.

LibSavedVars is now a mandatory dependency, in addition to LibAddonMenu-2.0 and LibFoodDrinkBuff.
LibClockTST is optional dependency, needed only for showing Tamriel time/date.
LibAddonMenu-DatePicker is also optional dependency, needed for ESO+ subscription gadget.

Please report bugs in the comments section or directly to me.

I can confirm this behavior. TEB will hardlock the client on UI load, but only (in my current experience) if the current character is a level 1 vampire.

Edit: Commenting out the whole "mundus and vampirism" section from lines 1807 to 1871 removed the client crash for me without generating any errors. (I don't use the vampire or mundus elements in TEB.) Some bit of code in that block, when run against a character with stage 1 vampirism, seems to be hard locking the client.

Nichts geht mehr | Nothing works anymore

Die Version: 11.4.8 funktioniert nicht!

Ich hatte nur dieses AddOn installiert.
Saved Variables gelöscht und neu angefangen - Ergebnis:
Die Gadgeds lassen sich nicht verschieben, sie springen immer zum Ende = nicht wirklich sinnvoll.
Die Gadgeds lassen sich nicht einzeln deaktivieren!!!
Beim setzen verschidener Einstellungen ist das UI kaputt und mann muss neu starten - das UI bleibt kaputt! = Es tut mir leid, aber das ist Unbrauchbar!

Ich nutze jetzt wieder Version 10.0.3 dort scheint alles zu funktionieren ...

The version: 11.4.8 does not work!

I only had this addon installed.
Deleted saved variables and started again - Result:
The gadgets cannot be moved, they always jump to the end = not really useful.
The gadgets cannot be deactivated individually!!!
When setting different settings, the UI is broken and you have to restart - the UI remains broken! = I'm sorry, but this is useless!

I'm now using version 10.0.3 again and everything seems to work there...

It's a bug introduced with Update 34 (High Isle) and I still have no idea how to circumvent it.

If you absolutely need to reorder the gadgets, it can be done by editing SavedVariables/TEB.lua (with any text editor like Notepad) - find section that looks like this, there's one for each character:

Looks like something is broken in your Saved Variables. Try removing it and see if it fixes the problem.

Move sections

Hi,

does anybody know how to move the different sections in the bar ? The sections are unlocked and I can grab one, but I can't move it to a different place. Or is this not possible and I have to disable all the sections again and then enable them in the order I want them to be in the bar ?

I can only agree with this. Only reloading the UI fixes the problem for a while but it keeps coming back. It would be nice if it can be fixed.

About the second one, as i wrote i already use that. But i like to use as less addons as possible and dont need all the stuff this addon is providing i just would need the overview like "did i already do them".
But its ok, i just keep on using the other addon

little feature request

i really love this bar (even with the rearrange issues), because it gives you so much compact infos aswell as alot of infos from the tooltips!

Only 2 things are missing for me and thats the reason i have to use 2 other seperate addons but would love to get rid of them, if you integrate it.

First one, the endeavour info for which quests you have to do for the daily or weekly to finish (like "kill tthis or that 5 times").
Atm i use the endeavour tracker for that, but it takes alot of space on the screen and would love to have it integrated in your bar somehow.

Second one: Daily Craft Writs.
Just an icon for the dailies to know if all are done today or not.
And in the tooltip the single categories like "blacksmiting, clothing, woodworking" etc. if done or not, so you know which ones are missing.
A little bonus would be to see the max craftmats count in your bag which you need for the max lvl daily writs, which are rubedite ingots, rubedite leather, ancestor silk, sanded ruby ash and platinum ounce.
atm i use the addon "daily craft status" for this, maybe you get an idea what i mean, but i dont use any feature of this!

Confilict (?) with Perfect Pixel

I am also having this issue, but I don't believe it's just the inventory page causing the glitch, I think it is most of the pages that PerfectPixel alters that cause this to happen.

Hey I was able to fix the tooltips not working thanks to Sir Baertram guide. If anyone want to fix it yourself or the author wants to update it, you can add these 3 lines:



in the TEB.lua in line number 4729-4731 just below this code



I found another solution that I am now testing. Unfortunately neither mine or yours seem to fix the other problem (with rearranging the gadgets), that's why I held back publishing a new release. If I don't solve this problem till the end of this week, I'll publish it anyway to have at least one problem fixed.

icon:SetDrawLayer(DL_CONTROLS)
icon:SetDrawLevel(1)

Another addon maker said it may have to do with the way ZOS made layers work now. The image may be in front of the item, or something like that. See the discussion in Mer Character Sheet. Perhaps both authors can work together to make things work.
