2. Select Action Type "Chat Command"
3. Select Category "(Immediate Value)"
4. Select the text entry box for Value and type "/<chat command>" meaning type slash and the actual command you want to input to chat.
Note: "Say" and other communication commands do not work.

bug or not a bug?
i found a posible "bug" when config the pie menu i selesct 8 slots to add all my companions, assistants and mementos, but when i try add Pirharri the Smuggler i see in the assistant list is missing it only appears the merchant and the banker i have bought, but i finally get a way to add just i select the instant value option and i put 300 XD and the pie menu detects that value as Pirharri the Smuggler so i dont know if its a bug or just is in my case only, because with the instant value detects it but in the dropdown menu of assistants no.
(sorry my bad english XD) |

your request is technically possible, and we will probably have such the option soon. There are various restrictions, but I will consider it. Thanks for the useful suggestions.

Thank you so much Calamath! Especially for the chat slash command support
One feature request, if possible:
This would be very cool as I'd leve to be able to run scripts and other addon test related stuff via the pie menu even with an UI (like the inventory) shown. I'm not sure if this is not possible because of Zos technical restrictions (Scenes, Fragments, etc.). btw:
I know, or at least can think of, this is not the goal of software development and maybe of your own demands It's just a kind of compromise for ESO in the end.

Re: Re: Re: Nesting
Hi Aspect,
there is no doubt that nested pie menus would be very cool. It is also a challenge for me personally in the future, I prefer to create my software in stages, and I want to start out simple in terms of functionality and provide it in a short period of time. Therefore, the first step would be to create, edit, and manage multiple presets, and then embody them in a way that they can be individually bound to multiple keys for different uses. However, this would not be handled well by gamepad users. So we'll look into countermeasures for that next. The nested pie menu feature will probably be a step beyond that. - Calamath

Re: Re: Nesting
Correct me, if im wrong - you want to make possibility to setup multiple profiles that theoretically can be used as a layers? So, making a DropDown menu on top of settings screen with selecting current "profile" to edit. So now - you can create a new "profile" (or select one of 5-10 precreated empty ones to manage, so you can have a limit to work with). And now you can add another Action Type into settings, named "Change/Switch Profile", that reloads you current shown radial menu into target profile one (though in that case it would be more useful for better overall feeling to make addon be able to use slots not only with letting menu_button up, but with left mouse click when slot selected as well, or it wont work/feel good, i guess). So now you can have as much layers as you want, even creating possibility to navigate between them back and forth by setting here and there "change to profileX". Also this solves issue of Settings Menu being way to bulky, if you want to setup nested menu, overall current setting menu even wont change at all actually. And for keybindings - you can limit amount of profiles to 5-10 to make it possible to add keybind in settings for all of them, when one of the buttons pressed - it just loads only that profiles radial menu. So now people can have different available amount of menus to open, or they can can have like 10 different profiles account wide but make that every character uses same button, but loads different profiles. If this is the case and i got your idea someking of right, then i am 100% waiting for this feature I'm really sorry, english is not my main language, it must be hard to read my explanations, it all looks kinda straightforward in my head, though hard to explain when i try to

Re: Nesting
I've been thinking for a while that someone needs to launch a similar concept in ESOUI. Apparently, no one showed up to create it, so I started making it about a week ago! How to switch between multiple pie menus with fewer key bindings is a consideration. I'll take your idea into consideration as well. Currently there are three methods being discussed, but your idea is interesting too. Thank you. - Calamath |

Nesting
Well, damn, this is the addon i was looking for quite some time, to organize some of addons and items to use. Now the only thing i'm looking for in possible future is possibility to add at least one layer of nesting to it, so you can Name a slot (for example Emotes, or Teleports), and then, when you select this option in main radial - it would change main radial menu to setuped one with another set of commands (with same Cancel button to close everything).
Multiple layering would be kinda messed thing to generate setting menu for, but i think 1 level of nesting is really not so scary thing to manage for people and it would help to manage things even better. Thanks for you work, this addon is really useful |

Re: Mounts
Automating the operation of getting on the mount is not allowed for add-ons due to the design poilicy of ZOS. You need to press the H key to get on the mount. However, in the near future I will update the add-on to allow you to select your favorite mount in the Pie menu. P.S. If you are using AlphaGear2 to switch gears, you can still assign shortcut key operations as chat commands to the Pie menu. For example, "Load Set 1" is the command below. /script AG.LoadSet(1) Eventually, you'll want a preset for the pie menu that controls the gear change in Alpha Gear2. - Calamath |

Mounts
I love your addon, can you also add Mounts in there?
this is just an absurd idea, but what if in the future you can also can add another radial quick slots, with a different bind, so you can set the other for collections/ emotes, etc. And the other as an integrated equip with skill or costume quick slot. Hahaha just like in alpha gear/style. So it would be like "hmmm, what should i wear for now" while looking at a radial with sets of equip/ costumes.. i know its absurd, but you know, great addon comes with great/ weird suggestions XD I know its hard to make addons, so just an idea though. |

Well, I'm definitely going to have to keybind to something easier than Alt+M. rofl. Thank you! |

And, the pie menu is only available in HUD mode, just like the quick slot. Do you have the settings menu out? If you get the quick slot radial menu but not the add-on pie menu, then something is wrong. - Calamath |

Soooooo... installed the addon today.
Put in some things in the addon's settings. Changed the keybind to Alt+M. Pie Menu didn't come up when using the keybind. Changed the keybind to B. Pie menu still didn't come up when using the keybind. I disabled all other addons to see if there was a conflict, and the pie menu still won't come up. Help? |

Re: Thanks!
At the moment it's not as good as OPie, but it should be able to do quite a lot of shortcuts. I would like to one day try the ultimate challenge of nested pie menu rings like you see in OPie. I've also seen it in Maya and Blender, though it's not easy to achieve... - Calamath
