PersonalAssistant V2

There are already many addons out there that support Auto-Repair or Auto-Gold-Deposit functionalities, but none of them had the features I'd like to have seen. Because of that, PersonalAssistant was born.

After a two year long break from ESO, I finally managed to complete the major refactoring that started back in 2017. But not only that, I also added many more features that I could not even have thought of back then. I hope you will have as much fun using this addon, like I had working on it!

PA General
  • Up to twenty different account-wide profiles per module that can be created/copied/deleted/renamed
  • Keybinding to travel to your primary home (if available)

PA Banking
  • Currencies (gold, alliance points, ...) can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Crafting materials can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank (if you are not ESO Plus Subscriber)
  • Create your own custom rules and decide how many of each item to keep in bank or inventory
  • Other selected items such as motifs, recipes, writs, glyphs, trophies etc. can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Select if items with [Intricate] trait should be transferred from/to the bank
  • Define a specific amount of lockpicks, repair kits or soul gems to always keep in inventory or the bank
  • Be always ready for Cyrodiil and define how many AvA items to keep in inventory

PA Integration
  • Support for various FCO ItemSaver marks
    • PABanking: Deposit or withdraw item marked for/as Research, Deconstruction, Improvement, Selling at guildstore, and Intricate
    • PABanking: Locked items will not be moved
    • PAJunk: Sell items marked for selling
    • PAJunk: Locked items will not be sold

PA Junk
  • Trash items can be marked as junk
  • Items with the "sell to merchant" information can be marked as junk
  • Treasures (such as the ones found when stealing) can be marked as junk
  • Items with [Ornate] trait can be marked as junk
  • Weapons, Armor, Jewelries, or Glyphs below a certain quality level can be marked as junk (quality threshold can be defined)
  • Junk can be sold at merchants and fences
  • Save time and use keybinding shortcuts to mark items as junk or directly destroy them
  • Mark any item as permanent junk so you never have to deal with it again
  • Items below a definable sell value can also be destroyed instead of marked as junk

PA Loot
  • Informs you when an unknown recipe is looted
  • Informs you when an unknown motif/page is looted
  • Informs you when an item with a not yet researched trait is looted
  • Informs you when a set item is looted that is not yet part of your set collection
  • Informs you when a companion item is looted
  • Informs you when you are running out of inventory space (threshold can be defined)
  • Visually indicates if a recipe, motif, trait, or style page is known (or not) to the current character

PA Repair
  • Repairs your items for you when you visit a merchant (threshold can be defined)
  • Repairs your items out on the field when you have repair kits available (threshold can be defined)
  • Recharges your weapons when they run out of charges and you have filled soul gems available

Hey man, thanks for the update!

Before I turn auto-destrouy on, let me ask you: what items are we actually destroying? There are a lot of 0g items that are actually important, namely crown items, surveys and many others.
The only 0g items that don't matter are weapons, apparel, jewerly and some trash. Did you take that into account?

This specific feature with the priority list will be too complex and too niche; at least for PersonalAssistant.

Technically could be done, I think... at least for the new custom banking rules. The other banking stuff would make user experience very bad because the dropdown would need to be extended with every possible combination (from now 7 to then 31 entries). Also, I don't own any housing containers so it would be a totally untested feature

Backpack <= 200 ("withdraw from backpack if I have less than 200 repair kits"?)
Theoretically it should be very easy (and btw is the same logic like the existing non-custom rules) since you only need to define the target state.
Bank >= 1 (I want to always have at least one item in the bank)
Backpack >= 1 (I always want to have at least one item in the backpack)
Bank <= 200 (I never want to have more than 200 items in the bank)
Backpack <= 200 (I never want to have more than 200 items in the bank)

Therefore "BACKPACK == 0" has the meaning that you always want to have exactly 0 items in the backpack (forcing all to be deposited to the bank)

Maybe add "Deposit into" + <BANK/BACKPACK dropdown> + "if" + ">= / == / <= dropdown" or something like that.
Exactly, it is not clear if it refers to depositing or withdrawing because it refers to both, depending on your item coun situation.
Assume the following rule: "BACKPACK == 10"
A) You have 5 in your backpack and 10 in your bank --> it will withdraw 5
B) You have 15 in your backpack and 5 in your bank --> it will deposit 5

If I would split it up like suggested by you, it would only cover one case, but not the other and you would end up with twice as many rules.

Technically possible for sure, but junk is supposed to be stuff you want to sell. For your use-case I would rather suggest to use an addon like FCOIS that can flag the items according to your purpose for them (and potentially PA will support these flags at some time in the future).
I appreciate your suggestion, and how you explained it makes a lot of sense. Thank you so much for clarifying I'll check out FCOIS!

The issue is more about not having the option to junk potions/poisons, the filters I suggested don't even matter much. Right now I have another junk addon that does just this: junk every non-crafted potion/poison. Most people (everyone?) are only interested in the crafted ones anyway...
With the junk rules, it seems I can only junk specific items, not like "all potions", is that right?
Another option would be to expand on the junk/banking rules, à lá JunkBuster.

Thanks for taking the suggestions, man!

Klingo, some other suggestions about junk handling:
- Separate the "unknown trait or no trait" option for weapons and armor. Use case: I might want to junk traitless gear, but keep the traited ones because one of my alts might need it.

- Potions and poisons: Junk them. Options could be: avoid crafted potions/poisons; only junk potions/poisons where level < 150; quality filtering
- Food: same as above
- Furnishing: same as above

B) Destroy 0g junk items when visiting a merchant/fence (instead of "selling" them)
C) Don't destroy anything (obviously the default setting)
Honestly, just including zero value gear in the option that junks gear up to a certain quality would be more than enough, at least for me. I think this is what Rothry was getting at, too. In fact, after a quick test, I believe that all I want is for line 93 in PAJunk.lua to be

Code:
if sellPrice >= 0 then
instead of

Code:
if sellPrice > 0 then
I'd be completely happy with that. But I get that other folks may be looking for a different solution.

Many thanks for your efforts!

This should not happen in the case of PersonalAssistant because I would only destroy an item with 0g value if it matches any of the rules that would mark it as junk. Since quest items cannot be marked as junk, this issue will already never occur.
As for e.g. the voidsteel garbage: It would depend on whether you defined a quality-threshold for let's say weapons to have them marked as junk. If you set it to the lowest ("Worn"), then it would destroy the 0g Voidsteel Dagger - if you disable the setting, it would not destroy the 0g Voidsteel Dagger because it does not match any of the "junk-rules" anymore (unless of course you created a permanent junk-rule for it ).
I think this way everyone can tweak it to their liking without the need to add a fully-fletched "add to destroy-list" feature. Yeah, that's how I will implement it!

If it isn't much trouble, what about an 'Add to destroy list' like the add to junk list. It rarely occurs but the 0 gold items I can think of which get accidentally destroyed by my other addon tend to be either (a) quest items (b) costumes/disguises. There are a also many items which are 0 gold (think voidsteel garbage here) which you may not want to destroy if you are deconning them for leveling crafting.

That gives you another drop down option: Destroy list items only.

Again, thanks for all your work on this addon. It is really helpful.

A safety-net to not have something accidentally destroyed that you wanted to keep?

Got it. Yes that makes sense. Will add that in the next version

1. Hopefully less work for the author, as an auto-junk feature is already implemented.
2. I prefer not to have addons auto-destroy anything. Saves everyone some grief, now and then.

I prefer auto-destroy. Saves space! => Less time spent at the merchants/fences!
But there is one condition: Be confident in the addon/author.

Yes I identified the issue now; the problem is that there are items with 0 value that cannot be sold (e.g. items from Kari's Hit List cannot be sold at a fence), but to my knowledge there is no easy way to see if an item can be sold or not. But maybe it would not be necessary for regular Merchants; I need to look into this.

Sure. I don't think that mods should take any kind of action unless explicitly specified by the user. Call it a failsafe of sorts, for both parties: user and author. That way, users get a chance to go over the rules they've set up without having an opportunity to blame you if an item disappears unintentinally. Besides, I believe that some folks might use the Junk tab to keep track of certain items they might not actually want to sell, but don't take my word for that one...

It's all up to you, in the end.

Could you please elaborate what you mean by that it should be a separate option? There is only one keybinding bar that additional options can be added to and you have the option to enable/disable either one of them in the settings of PersonalAssistant.
What I meant was that it would be great if there were the following two options:

1. Enable the keybindings for Mark as Junk and Destroy Item.
2. Display the keybindings for Mark as Junk and Destroy Item on the keybinding bar.

I, for instance, would activate the former, but not the latter option, because of some overlaps on the keybinding bar (see screenshot).
