    Description
    Removes guild recruitment spam from chat. Simple, fast, efficient.

    No save tables or Ignore lists are accessed.

    The Got My Five Advantage

    How to Instal
    Instal as you would any other AddOn. Startup the game. Enjoy. No configuration required but it can be tweaked.

    Configuration
    Got My Five works great "as is" but... there are a couple of options for the curious among you! Enter /gmf in chat.

    Taraezor's Other TESO AddOns
    Why not check out Spam Bam, removes gold seller spam from chat. Overcomes the pitfalls of all other anti-spam AddOns whilst being quick, flexible and lightweight.

    Default value is 5. Increase this if you are concerned about false positives. Decrease to be more aggressive.

    MinLen
    Chat of less than this amount will NOT be tested. Default value is 30. Increase this to avoid unnecessary testing on short messages. Decrease if some short messages appear to be slipping through.

    New Version v1.01
    Basically updated this special parameter which informs the game engine that the AddOn is up to date with the latest client/server versions of TESO.

    I have been monitoring the performance of Got My Five and it appears to be capturing 100% of all Guild recruitment spam with the notable exceptions of:

    (1) a Quebec based guild with a message in French
    (2) a stoner guild with a weird message
    (3) a few really short messages such as "LFM for my guild!"

    For (1) above I could add some French language checks but this would bloat CPU usage unnecessarily for 99% of all other checks. So I won't at this stage. For (2) the same applies. Catering for weird stuff just slows down the AddOn unnecessarily. For (3) the risk is deleting normal chat in order to totally loosen up the "hit" criteria. See my next post in this forum (above).

    Any problems please let me know here thank you. I will be checking here about weekly and not daily now as it is obviously stable and working as intended.

    Now this is something I don't think has been done yet and a much needed one considering guild recruitment posts are 3-4 lines long!

    Thanks for trying out "Got My Five". It is my second AddOn for TESO.

    Quite a simple AddOn yet... it works!

    Is able to auto delete just about all Guild recruitment chat spam and is especially effective for the multi line spam which can half fill the chat panel.

    I have a THIRD AddOn in the works too. Also a spam filter. Leave you to guess what it will try to auto delete.
