Can someone help me?
Ping1 is normal ping you can set on map when clickt F.
I dont know for what exacly is used, in settings ping2 and ping3.
Great when someone can find it out, then I can name it.
For scripter ping2 = MAP_PIN_TYPE_RALLY_POINT and ping3 = MAP_PIN_TYPE_PING.

No, thats impossible, if you remove overlay textures, you have a square map(textures hide corners), so same as tactical, only without square functions.

No, thats impossible, if you remove overlay textures, you have a square map(textures hide corners), so same as tactical, only without square functions.

Transparent texture?

Sorry if this has been covered before but when using the RPG map is there anyway to make the overlay texture transparent? The black blob is offputting and I'm not a massive fan of the other overlays. Thanks in advance for any insight!

Y, Im not primary a gamer. My char is lvl 17, my addon lvl 46.

I can sort them in two panels, "used" and "unused" next patch, but I want to keep all in settings.

I did't play with zoom yet, but I can explain meaning of those terms. In the settings menu is:

"Zoom <UIMapType>-<MapContentType>"

UIMapType:
None - dungeons, main&guild quest maps
Subzone - cities/towns
Zone - zones
World - Tamriel map (http://www.esohead.com/map#27.2.50.50)
Alliance - afaik this map type is not accessible from the world map
Cosmic - Oblivion (http://www.esohead.com/map#439.2.50.50)

You will never be on World, Alliance and Cosmic maps, so you can igonre settings for those types.

MapContentType:
None - all maps except of Cyrodiil and dungeons
AvA - Cyrodiil
Dungeon - Dungeons

As for your question: Elden Root is a city outside of AvA, so you will need to change settings of "Zoom Subzone-None".

Afaik this is the list of settings that actually makes sense:
None-Dungeon
Subzone-None
Subzone-Dungeon - group delve in Craglorn is marked as subzone/dungeon (tested in Haddock's Market)
Subzone-AvA
Zone-None
Zone-Dungeon - for example dungeons in AvA (tested in Underpall Cave) are marked as zone
Zone-AvA
