Inventory Insight  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
One Inventory to rule them all!
(Items from banks, house storage, and all of the characters on your account! All in one place.)

What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, CraftBag and Storage Chests
  • tracks items in House(s) (configurable)
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character
  • keeps track of the space used/available for each character
  • allows filtering your inventory by item type
  • lets you search the items by name, or by set name
  • adds data to item tooltip showing you where that item is located (all popups/tooltips, or only when over the Inventory Insight window)
  • Tracks information separately between NA and EU

Recently added features:
  • FCO Item Saver integration
  • Guild banks tracking is now separate between world servers
  • Jewelry filter is now on main bar (to match rest of base UI)

Library dependencies: (all are available here at ESOUI)

Backlog:
  • Track multiple accounts: Voodoo might be possible

Where do I send massive qtys of gold or mats (or not so massive)?
We gladly accept donations:
NA: @AssemblerManiac
EU: @manavortex
3.67

- Updated for U41

3.66

- Update to address resizeToFitDescendents warnings

3.65

- Update to address regression for subcategory dropdown
- Removed MRL support

Because of those that do not wish to help find the mod causing the conflict I removed the MRL support. I can't troubleshoot it because I'm not using the same mods as those with the issue. It would have been nice to know which mod was causing the issue. I especially can't without a LibDebugLogger file that was created while they had the issue.

The necrom update has some bugs in it anyway that will do things as simple as break resizing windows. The fixes for some of these issues won't be included until the next incremental or update 39. So removing the MRL code will be helpful so that after the release of Necrom when someone realizes something is broken I won't have to hear people complain about it when the user has the issue because of other mods causing the conflict.

3.64

- Fix for Search inventories from Chat
- Jewellery no longer shows up when filtering armor

3.63

- Added tooltip to Deconstruction assistants

3.62

- Fix for moc with Lazy Set Crafter

3.61

- Update to tooltip localization for weapons

3.56, 3.58, 3.59, 3.60

- Update to address possible mismatching of items from any list of items
- Added nil checks for AGS when data rows are temporarily empty or switching between a guild that has listed items for sale and one that doesn't

The tooltip should be correct now for outdated mouse over controls. Added controls include Furniture Catalogue and CraftStore.

3.55

- Update to address possible mismatching of items when you right click on the UI from other mods like Awesome Guild Store

3.54

- Fix for Honestaly's report that the search box no longer works

- Pre PTS version

3.52

- Fix for IIfA: Search inventories issue that Neverlands reported

3.51

- Update to make the Up and Down arrow buttons for the scroll bar work to scroll the list because previously that was not defined.
- Holding Shift while clicking the Up or Down arrows or while scrolling the mouse will move the list by an increment of 10. Basically a Page Up/Page Down.
- Inventory Insight will no longer display the count for the last item viewed in the main UI for items in the MM window. Meaning if you looked at Acai Berries and had 1000 of them in your craft bag, everything in the MM window had 1000 for the tooltip. This only applied to new views and lists that didn't previously exist.
- You can now right click items to link the MM price from the Inventory Insight window

3.50

- Reworked tooltip font routines for quickc's report
- Updated TLC in xml because of ZOS changes so currency and bag space popup isn't under the Inventory Insight window

Hello, this is happening to me as well, although only on 2 of my characters (and all my characters have the same active addons).

I can confirm that reloading the UI fixes it, for a while, until it happens again.

Could you try to fix it?

Thank you for your time and this great addon.

Goodbye

I would like to add that I took my time to test this, and it happens on all my characters, every time I click a link in chat, the separate box at the bottom of the tooltip persists even after closing it, and the only way to fix it seems to be a UI reload.

I tried deleting the folder (from the Addon folder) and its related .lua file (from the SavedVariables folder), and completely reinstall the addon manually from scratch without success, it keeps happening.
I thought that maybe it was one of those addons still requiring the LibStub library, so I added it, but it didn't fix the problem.

I just tried using an older version (3.27) to see if this issue would happen, and yes, unfortunately it happens.

I can confirm that reloading the UI fix it, for a while, until it happens again.

Could you try to fix it?

Thank you for your time and this great addon.

Goodbye
Same here, fix please
Yeah I reported it 10 days ago. I uninstalled the app because it was becoming a real problem. I do hope it gets fixed soon tho, because its a very handy addon

bottom part of item pop up doesn't go away

The part of the item pop up highlighted by Fearless won't go away when i close the pop up. Doesn't matter what kind of item pop up it is. If there is that bottom part to the window (not part of default UI), it stays on my screen. not moveable, not delete-able. Can click thru it (like clicking log off). this is very recent. Within the last couple days. Any ideas for how to fix?

ESO Master Recipe List already shows this information.

After More Testing (Housing Editor Issue)

Did some further testing. Uninstalled Inventory Insight and all the libs, reinstalled them all. Turned off every other addon and lib to remove conflicts. Issue persists. This issue seems to be exclusively contained within Inventory Insight.

Also deleted my addon settings files, still no change. Halp me Obi-Wan Kenobi.

pops up when on siege and won't go away

Weird issue, when I go to a siege engine in PVP Inv Insight pops up and I can't make it go away, I've tried clicking on the hotkey I have assigned and it doesn't go away...anyone else run into this?

I don't really need in when PVP'ing so I have it disabled at the moment, just a weird bug.

Re: various errors

Hi
I read through all comments on this addon and all related addons that might add to the problems some of us have atm, and tried all and any advice from all addon-creators from all related addons.

Nothing actually fixed the various error messages, but since I use yet another addon to redirect that bloody annoying popup-box to a system tab chat msg I don't really care much. They all still "work" though, it just requires the occasional reloadui, heh. Beginning to think its not related to any addon but a change they did from zos without informing anyone about it...

Thanks you addon makers for still working to try to correct what probably isn't even your fault atm 8)

(And the patience to keep reading comments when 70% of the posters don't even read the post below before posting the same, lol... )

I run 4 ESO+ accounts with more than 55 toons and am a horrid compulsive hoarder, I really could not have any kind of oversight of what I have stored where without this, heh. Also have 2 "private" guild banks and all the housing coffers. If I was a millionaire I'd drown you in online beer vouchers, lel.

TY !

Don't I wish. All these Libs... so not how you use library code. I know it's in fashion for the addons, but it's super annoying. A library should be used by multiple aps, not just one.
Yes, that's the whole point of libraries.

We, the developer community, are trying to get away from everyone bundling libraries with their addons. There was the potential instance where an addon dev might bundle a lib, and change the versioning on it so it was the "newest", and would cause issues with the real one not being used by the game because it didn't know it was actually newer. By forcing libs to be downloaded/installed by the player, it guarantees they come from trusted/current sources, and also cuts down on duplicate files being distributed by every addon.

If there's a need for a specific lib, and it's only used by one addon, there's no way to know that, and it could just as easily be used by most addons (like LibAddonMenu, or LibCustomMenu). We're doing the best that we can, and really are trying to improve things for everyone, not just ourselves.
LibStub's Page is telling us to tell Authors they're not supporting it anymore and to stop using it, not sure if you are aware of that or not, I couldn't see anyone else mentioning it

Like some others, experiencing the II UI popping up during house editing. Turned on debugging, seeing the following;

GetSceneSettings: name=hud, hidden=true
ProcessSceneChange hud: shown -> hiding
IIfA_ScanHouse(131616, 0, 2)
Housing editor mode is now 2 - calling IIfA:ReScanHouse(5756)
ProcessSceneChange hud: hiding -> hidden
ProcessSceneChange housingEditorHud: showing -> shown
GetSceneSettings: name=housingEditorHUD, hidden=false
ProcessSceneChange housingEditorHUD: shown -> hiding
ProcessSceneChange housingEditorHUD: hiding -> hidden
ProcessSceneChange housingEditorHUD: hidden -> showing
ProcessSceneChange housingEditorHUD: showing -> shown

Looked through the LUAs and such, but couldn't identify the code to actually disable the II window during housing editor HUD. Any ideas?
