This addon is for the English client only but I welcome anyone to add in the necessary strings for other languages.

This is a very simple add-on that automatically turns on autoloot when your target is a crafting node such as wood, ore, plants, herbs, glyphs, water, fishing node, or other crafting related container and turns it off if it is anything else.

I enjoy crafting so I have to pick up a lot of ingredients but I don't want endless amounts of junk from tables and containers so I put together CraftAutoLoot. I have been using this for a while now with no problems so now I would like to share. Please, enjoy and I hope you like it.

Hey, no worries, I'm glad you approved!

I think there might be some containers specific to DLC that I've missed, but they appear very rarely, so it's not a big deal; there's also the "Heavy Crate" you find in Coldharbor only, same possible contents as the Sack.

Also, not entirely sure if adding the action == "Search" conditional is necessary, I'll test it without it, in a while and let you know!

Thank you for this! Is the general consensus that people would like this to be added? Are the barrels and crates too general or are people ok with all of the non crafting items they will be autolooting? Thank you for the help!
Maybe a slash command to toggle containers could be a solution? I prefer to auto loot everything with crafting materials in it.

It's much less elegant but... it actually works! Well, sometimes the autoloot does not turn off properly, for some reason, but I guess that's due to how the commands are processed; although I wonder if it would be possible to tighten this up... hm.

Hello all. I added in the string so it will auto loot when fishing. I never did much fishing in the past so it never occurred to me to add it but I recently started and thought that it made fishing more convenient. Please, let me know if you have any problems. Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion. I left "Take" out because of many other targets that give that keyword that I didn't want to autoloot but certainly modify it for what meets your needs.

Fishing Bait

This is a great addon, thank you for all your work.

On my system I've modified the original code by adding action == "Take" so that fishing bait in the form of flies etc is collected. This is a small change that you may wish to consider for the mod.
