Reminderz

Do you die during a trial boss or in PvP just to realize that you forgot to eat or drink your buff food before it ran out?

Are you leveling a new toon and keep forgetting to refresh your XP scroll or potion?

Fighting for Emperor in Cyrodiil just to notice your war torte ran out sometime ago?

Are you a vampire who needs to stay at stage 2, stage 3 or stage 4?

Then this addon is for you.

This addon allows you to set reminders to pop up on screen when any or all of the following are going to run out or have run out:

1) Your buff food/drink
2) Desired vampire stage
3) XP scroll or potion
4) War Torte
5) Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity (During Whitestrake's Mayhem)

You can configure the color on screen of the reminder.
You can configure how far in advance to warn you.
You can configure how often to remind you.

If there are other reminders you want, let me know in game or here and I'll look into adding them.

1.0.11 - Fixed a bug that wasn't properly supressing the daily reset reminder. Also added a checkbox to supress the addon loaded message at startup.

1.0.14 - Fixed a bug in the daily reset reminder where it'd report reset 1 minute early
1.0.15 - Actually fixed the daily reset reminder this time
1.1 - Changed preferences to be per character not account wide

1.2 - Change Dailies Reminder to new Update 26 time, which aligns with Daily Login Rewards

That was easy to do with the Pelinal because its only one thing to look for in inventory. With XP scrolls & potions, I'd need one of each to know what to look for in inventory.

Try the new version, 1.0.11, it should fix the bug where the daily reminder wasn't being turned off. I also added a checkbox for you to suporess the addon loaded message.

Glad you like Reminderz!

To turn off notifications of the daily reset, there is a checkbox in the settings for the Reminderz addon which says "Remind me before the daily quest/endeavour reset". Simply turn it off and you will get no more reminders for that.

All XP items add a buff whose name is "Increased Experience" regardless of which one you take, so by keying off the buff name instead of the abilityID I was able to add code which should work for all XP potions and scrolls.

Similarly, all tortes & such which boost AP gain all have buff name which start with "Alliance Skill Gain" so by looking for a buff whose name begins with that phrase, I can track war tortes, etc.

It'll work for now until I get the abilityID (sorry not itemID, they're different) of each XP and AP buff.

But as I said, if you consume one of these XP or AP items, type "/reminderz .buffs" and then send me the list with the names & abilityIDs for each buff and I can add it into the addon.

So I added support tonight for a reminder of the following types of experience scrolls/potions:

1. Crown Experience Scroll
2. Gold Coast Experience Scroll
3. Major Gold Coast Experience Scroll
4. Grand Gold Coast Experience Scroll
5. Aetherial Ambrosia
6. Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia.

I'll release a new version tomorrow - 1.0.1 - with support for these.

Are there other kinds of Experience scrolls/potions I'm missing?

Also, with this new version, if you type "/reminderz .buffs" in the chat console, it will list all your active buffs with their IDs. If you want new onces, send me the name and ID listed and explain what it is. Doing this for the AP buffs in Cyro would be helpful as I could add them too.
