PersonalAssistant (Banking, Junk, Loot, Repair)  Updated this week!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.4.19
by: Klingo [More]

PersonalAssistant V2

There are already many addons out there that support Auto-Repair or Auto-Gold-Deposit functionalities, but none of them had the features I'd like to have seen. Because of that, PersonalAssistant was born.

After a two year long break from ESO, I finally managed to complete the major refactoring that started back in 2017. But not only that, I also added many more features that I could not even have thought of back then. I hope you will have as much fun using this addon, like I had working on it!

PA General
  • Up to ten different account-wide profiles that can be renamed
  • Shortcut to travel to your home (if available)

PA Banking
  • Currencies (gold, alliance points, ...) can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Crafting materials can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank (if you are not ESO Plus Subscriber)
  • Create your own custom rules and decide how many of each item to keep in bank or inventory
  • Other selected items such as motives, recipes, writs, glyphs, trophies etc. can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Select if items with [Intricate] trait should be transferred from/to the bank
  • Define a specific amount of lockpicks, repair kits or soul gems to always keep in inventory or the bank
  • Be always ready for Cyrodiil and define how many AvA items to keep in inventory

PA Integration
  • Limited support for FCO ItemSaver regarding "Marked for selling" and "Locked" marks

PA Junk
  • Trash items can be marked as junk
  • Items with the "sell to merchant" information can be marked as junk
  • Treasures (such as the ones found when stealing) can be marked as junk
  • Items with [Ornate] trait can be marked as junk
  • Weapons, Armor, Jewelries, or Glyphs below a certain quality level can be marked as junk (quality threshold can be defined)
  • Junk can be sold at merchants and fences
  • Save time and use keybinding shortcuts to mark items as junk or directly destroy them
  • Mark any item as permanent junk so you never have to deal with it again
  • Items with no sell value can also be destroyed instead of marked as junk

PA Loot
  • Informs you when an unknown recipe is looted
  • Informs you when an unknown motif/page is looted
  • Informs you when an item with a not yet researched trait is looted
  • Informs you when you are running out of inventory space (threshold can be defined)
  • Visually indicates if a recipe, motif, trait, or style page is known (or not) to the current character

PA Repair
  • Repairs your items for you when you visit a merchant (threshold can be defined)
  • Repairs your items out on the field when you have (non-crown) repair kits available (threshold can be defined)
  • Recharges your weapons when they run out of charges and you have filled soul gems available
  • Informs you when you are running out of soul gems, or repair kits (thresholds can be defined)

Hi,

Love your addon - is there anyway to copy a profile, to allow the easy creation if a slightly different profile.

Thanks in advance

Hi Klingo,

A few questions:

1. I think PA Junk miscalculates the gold summary when selling, at least, to the fence. Can you please check that? I just fenced a few stacks of stolen stuff, and it told me I sold 300-something worth, then I fenced a 10-stack of green loot, and was told I sold 100 worth. Apparently, it counts 1x, not stacks.

2. I think I asked before, is there a way to make rules as for what to sell and what not to sell to Pirharri? Or at least, disable selling to her automatically.

3. Is there a way to make complicated rules like, e.g.,
Mark weapons as junk if they have blue or lesser quality, cost no less than 50 and are basic/racial motifs?

The reason why I never added them was that I could not conclude to a single rule as to when the addon should consume them since they are reparing every item of your character.
So either I would need to check the average durability over all items, but then you can have outliers and still not trigger the crown repair kit. E.g. if the average threshold is 50% and you have 1 completely broken item but the others are still around 60%, then it would not use the repair kit because on average you are >50%.
Otherwise I could check if the worst items is below a treshold, but then you have the risk that a "powerful" crown repair kit is potentially used only to repair one bad item.

Or what rule would you suggest that triggers the crown repair kit?
I'd go with a slider that is the total estimated gold value to repair, across all seven pieces, if done at a merchant. That way, you're directly measuring the net value you're getting out of the kit. Generally this is about the same effect as your average % measure.

And in your scenario where there's one really bad piece, but the rest are fine, that that should still trigger the rule for popping a grand kit, no? It's not all either/or.
One note... Those kits repair not the seven equipped pieces, but everything in your inventory. Just FYI. Calc that now

Hi Klingo,

Sorry for hitting you with a wall of text earlier.

Would it be possible to add "Move everything except full stacks" into Other settings > Stacking rule when depositing ?

Thanks

Mh, that is weird. The banking settings are only dependant on the main toggle that you already siwtched, and that you ahve selected a profile. There are no other constraints :/

The reason why I never added them was that I could not conclude to a single rule as to when the addon should consume them since they are reparing every item of your character.

I have a fix ready for this, but it is depending on the release of Greymoor... so in a few days

Unfortunately, I didn't find the time yet to look into this in detail.

Only thing I'd really ask for is the option to make any settings category (Junk rules especially, but maybe motif/map/etc autobanking) span multiple profiles. Very annoying to have to manually propagate my junk rules between profiles.

Love this addon.

Crown Repair Kits

Hello!

The overall PA suite has been so nice in letting me focus on playing, rather than random inventory/gear management.

One thing that I would like to see added would be the ability to use Crown Repair Kits. The game tosses a few at me from time to time (typically the daily log in), and I never use them, since PA-Repair just makes repair a mindless activity that feeds off my Grand Repair Kits. Possibly have a throttle for "Armor Repair over XXg" to trigger? Could also consider the Impresario's Kits as an option as well.

Thanks!

Hi Klingo,

Thanks again for this addon. It's awesome and couldn't play the game anymore without it

Request for Banking: Could you add an option to deposit/withdraw only full stacks ? It would be especially useful for crafting materials and muling items. It could be per crafting category but I think for the most of us it would be enough if it would affect the whole Crafting Items section.

To explain my procedure while not having ESO+ active:
I have basically three types of characters, those characters I play have "active" profile, those that are "deactive" and mules.

Active characters have their inventory as empty as possible, "deactive" chars have full stacks stored and mules have their dedicated banking profiles and are for sorting crafting materials and storing other misc items.

The mules end up with full stacks at some point and I have to move the full stacks to one of the deactive characters which is fine. However deactive characters do get new materials from crafting writs though so it would be benefical to move those items to the mules and just to keep the full stacks. Currently also the full stacks are moved if I set their profile in "auto" mode.

At it's simplests even only "do not move full stacks" option in Crafting Items section would be very nice addition. It wouldn't necessarily need to be even automated banking as full stacks tend to pile up less frequently and are easy to handle manually from time to time.

Cheers

I found a way to do this, it may not be pretty but its workable for taking a screen grab for repeating or comparing profile rules.
Edit: Note, I did try to move the heading and line but could not find the right place in the code

Modified; RulesWindow.xml (2 places)

Code:
<GuiXml>
    <Controls>
        <TopLevelControl name="PersonalAssistantRulesWindow" inherits="ZO_RightPanelFootPrint" hidden="true">
            <Dimensions x="612" y="1588" /> <!-- was 688 -->
            <Controls>

                <Control name="$(parent)ModeMenu" inherits="ZO_SceneMenu">
                    <Anchor point="TOPRIGHT" relativeTo="ZO_SharedRightBackground" offsetX="-40"/>
                    <Anchor point="TOPLEFT" relativeTo="ZO_SharedRightBackground" offsetY="-280"/> <!-- had no offsetY -->
                    <Dimensions y="50"/>
                </Control>

Great addon! A couple minor issues.

This addon is extremely useful. Thank you!

I've noticed a couple issues that limit functionality for me.

1) When I make rules for specific non-crafted potions, the rules are applied to ALL potions of that type. When attempting to create/modify the rules of a specific potion, it will apply to all potions, so that there is no possible way to create separate rules for separate potion levels.

For example: I create a rule to keep ==0 "Essence of Health" Potions in my bank, because I want to have them in my backpack to use while questing. However, when I go to the bank, ALL non-crafted health potions are now removed from my bank and placed in my bags, including the lower level "Distillate of Health". So I attempt to create a rule for "Distillate of Health", except it already has the rule of "Essence of Health" on it. If I do try to create a rule to keep ==0 "Distillate of Health" in my bags, then it will also remove the "Essence of Health" from my bags.

I saw in the comments that someone else is having a similar issue with crafted potions as well. I haven't yet crafted any potions with this addon enabled, so I cant personally attest to it, but it seems to be the same issue that I'm having with non-crated potions.

2) PA chat messages are routed to LibDebugLogger. It's not really an issue with PersonalAssistant per se, but could be alleviated by using LibChatMesage to show messages in chat.

Thank you again for this wonderful addon. It saves so much time and tedium.

Please would you consider adding the ability to resize the /parules window in the vertical direction.

It is only so I can more easily take a screen grab when repeating mostly the same rules in other profiles.

I have profiles where the majority of the rules are the same and just tweaked a bit based on the activity for a char or group of chars.

In addon "Ravalox' Quest Tracker " there is a resize option horizontally. This is just for info if you needed to see an example of the UI controls.
