Version: 1.0.2
by: LilBudyWizer [More]
To install copy to the addon directory for TESO.

Usage

Code:
/resetignore
/ri
removes all accounts from your ignore list

Code:
/resetignore @pattern
remove all accounts from your ignore list matching pattern

Code:
/resetignore/resetignore pattern
remove all accounts from your ignore list with note containing pattern.

Note: pattern is an lua pattern. For more information refer to manual

Examples

Code:
/resetignore @a.*
all accounts starting with 'a'

Code:
/resetignore .*SpamFilter.*
all accounts added by SpamFilter

Code:
/resetignore .*SpamFilter.*Rule: somerule.*
all accounts added by SpamFilter due to rule somerule

Description

This addon will reset your ignore list. It will take LUA patterns, the same as SpamFilter. If the pattern includes a space put it in quotes. If the pattern starts with @ then it will match userids in your ignore list. So @a.* matches all userids starting with a. If the pattern doesn't start with @ then it matches on notes. So .*SpamFilter.* removes all the ignores added by SpamFilter and .*SpamFilter.*Rule: somerule removes all the ignores by SpamFilter for rule somerule.

Why would you want to remove spammers from your ignore list? Because you can only ignore 100 people. Spammers go through more accounts than that by a long margin. Those accounts get banned though so your ignoring an account that may be long gone. SpamFilter, or similar mod, will add them back in for you if they are still active based upon your defined rules.

Yes, it's slow. The social system doesn't respond very fast. I had to put a 2s delay between remove requests. That may not be long enough if the server is busy. I'll see if I can't find a better way to tell when it will accept another remove request to speed it up as much as possible and not fail the social system doesn't respond fast enough.
1.0 Initial release

1.0.1 Removed debug message on remove and corrected directory name in zip file.

1.0.2 Renamed readme.txt to read.me so it does get mistaken for an addon definition

Thanks for your work on this mod!

Hope you can update this from it's "out of date" status after the 5/22/2014 patch.

Oops, I'll correct that. I actually noticed there was such an addon listed and saw comments on another addon changelog about them correcting that and it still didn't register. Thanks for pointing it out. I guess that would allow one to do a library of addon's.

The readme.txt file gets read into ESO's add-ons list (unsure of why).

Easiest fix is to rename the file to something like: "read.me", "readme.md" or "readme". Just a heads up.

Nice Even with the delay. I have that same delay anyway if I have to go through and do it manually, which I pretty much have to do every week anyway. If this automates the process, I can set it to run when I'm going to the kitchen or something.
