thanks for your report. Spoiler only important if not fixed already
Warning: Spoiler
I can't reproduce it...
Did you try to reset your Clock? (/cl reset) Maybe there is a issue with the saved variables from a previous version. Can you give me some more details like your settings, (12h clock?, am/pm signs?, date? realtime? etc.) Did you move your clock? And where at your display is it? How slightly is the movement? Does it also happen if you write /reloadui in the chat? Is the movement when you log into other characters or even when you relog into the same (both shouldn't happen^^) These infos will help me allot figuring the bug out EDIT: Now I see it too... the infos are still helpfull but I think the problem lies with the y value. Does your clock move only down too not to the right or left? EDIT2: Ok uploaded the quickfix V5.22. I hope it is fixed now.

Hi again Tyx
Since the last version, every time I log into a character, the clock has moved position slightly. |

view.lua
Line 174 is local style = vi.styles["thick_outtline"] i think you meant to have this local style = st.GetLook("style") so the font style actually changes |

Haha ok that makes much more sense
As far as I know you can adjust TamrielTime's length of a ingame day too, but not the start point of the measurement (which is depending on his algorithm not a problem or could lead to offsets). The Version 0.51 of Clock has still some issues with the time (not the exact day length) and has to be manually adjusted to be preciser (which can be easily done in the settings). I think TamrielTime is exacter, in an unadjusted state, than mine - until I release V0.52. But I don't have TamrielTime installed thus I am not sure about that. If you want a definit answer which one is exacter: you can test it I think both Addons aren't perfect yet, so there will be an offset. Just wait till noon - best time to set a clock because sun is at her highest (and most South) place in the sky - and write the command "/cl noon". The Clock will set itself to 12:00. The next time you play and it is noon you can compare both Addons which shows you the more correct time (12:00).
EDIT: I released Version 0.52 with a better accuracy - so now mine should be more accurate (at least I hope so)

Huge mistake, but my question still goes. Just replace "SimpleClock" with "TamrielTime" |

The OS Time is a static time and is as exact as a time could be (at least in lua [language of the Addon] that is) My Addon on the other hand shows you the exact (or not so exact if not yet synced) ingame time. So you don't have to look to the sky and/or guess which time it is. The function to show realtime in addition, will be implemented in Version 0.52, as requested by Saftsuse, but it is not part of the current Addon. Thus both Addons are exact but show an other time.

I'm just wondering..
I have your addon and the other one that seems to be popular (TamrielTime). While both addons show more or less the same time, the time itself differs by 50 minutes. Howcome ? How can I know if your addon or the other one are correct? I preffer yours at the moment, since its RP-friendly

It is not planed to implement something like this in the main Addon... but maybe I can offer a little patch implementing this - if it is not to much work that is. The real time will be fixed under the game time clock and the date under the real time. No settings. If many people are interested in this patch I will implement it in the main Addon and create settings to customize it and (maybe) make the clock and date movable with the option separate or fixed with the clock... But my main goal is right now to implement a functional moon cycle icon and improve the moon algorithm and default values. I will upload the patch with the next Version [0.52] but due to my studies right now, you have to wait a bit. Maybe Friday or at least Sunday. EDIT: One question: Do you mean date like 22th of april or the "elder scrolls" lore equivalent? EDIT2: That is what it will look like - it was easier than expected

Could you possibly add Date too? And Real world date and time option? As it is I need 3 different addons to display this.
Thanks for a terrific addon |

I will release Clock version [0.5] with moon phase support very soon - but I am not sure if it works properly it is hard to test wit a 8 day wait period...
It is, like the time function, fully customizable (the text is linked to the time so it has the same settings but you can choose your own phase length)
The Clock functions work with a UNIX time stamp. This means that you set a time as midnight (it will be calculated back to the time at midnight if you use the noon command for example) and it will be a absolute time in seconds since 1.1.1970 00:00 UTC. So a maintenance has no effect on your sync if - and that is the big question - the server work the same way. But if the server stop the ingame time during maintenance then you time sync will be off and you have to manually resync it. I don't see a way then to compensate that because the maintenance time is never the same length. With the moon phases is an other problem. If the time is calced trough the maintenance there shouldn't be a problem either... if not there is a huge problem. To sync the time you have to wait ~ 20700s which is not that big a deal. To sync a moon phase it is much longer and I have to think of a way to link the changes in the sync of the time to the moon phase... Lets hope they don't stop the time until we know more^^ EDIT: To set the correct time for the moon phases as default values it would be great if you could post your time (and server) of a start of a moon phase and the time when it ends

you're welcome
another point you have to consider is the weekly maintainance windows, is the time stopped during these windows? or is it constantly going on? or is it reset on server start to a default start time? |

Thanks you all for your comments
I finished and uploaded a new Version you can now set you own length of a day. Yes a moon cycle would be really useful but also difficult to sync right. I have the feeling we have full moons for days now at the EU Server and sometimes with and without spawns. (I looked for vamps for days and got infected with ww while writing code. When I got back in eso to debug I was dead and had the curse ) I could write a moon algorithm first before trying to implement a animated clock to the map... makes more sense anyway^^ Thanks for the link MrND07 btw. So from that link in real time: 1.5 d = full moon 2.5 d = to new moon 1.5 d = new moon 2.5 d = to full moon 8d = moon cycle I will try to implement that tomorrow or so... With a 8 days wait to test the data it should be implemented as soon as possible^^ EDIT: Btw: to best sync the Clock Addon simply set the clock to noon at noon (obviously ) and wait a day or more (ingame) then set your time (at noon again) so that you clock shows exactly 12:00. When this is done you should have two things: First a exact time interval of one day Second a perfectly synced clock Noon is best because you can see the sun and you have a compass So just wait until the sun is right under you South sign at you compass. Please tell me your settings of the day length so that I can set them as default if they are identical to each other and mine.
