OmniStats  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.2.13
by: stjobe [More]
I'm not playing ESO any more, so I won't be updating this addon. Sorry!

OmniStats
A transparent, always visible window that shows the same twelve stats as on the character screen.

Features
  • Buffed stats show in green
  • Debuffed stats show in red
  • Softcapped stats show in orange and with an overcharge icon
  • Four layouts: Horizontal, vertical, square, and rectangle
  • Always show max values option
  • Adjustable background alpha
  • Adjustable foreground alpha
  • Scalable between 50-200%
  • Options to hide in combat or out of combat
  • Keybind available to toggle window on/off - new in 1.2.9

Controls
  • Left-click to move the window around (position is saved globally for all your characters)
  • Right-click to reset the stats their current values (e.g. when you have levelled or equipped new gear)
Known Issues
  • Options panel does not update to reflect when "Use manual toggle button" disables the automatic options and vice versa.

Possible Future Features
  • Further layout customization
  • Option to display more stats
1.2.13
* Bumped API version to 100009

1.2.12
* Fixed window scale not being set correctly after UI reload.

1.2.11
* Maintenance release to comply with new API version

1.2.10
* Maintenance release to comply with new addon terms of use and new API version

1.2.9
* Added keybind to toggle display on/off.

1.2.8
* Added scaling (50-200%)
* Added options to show in combat and/or out of combat.

1.2.7
* Bumped API number for Craglorn.

1.2.6
* Fixed the issue where /reloadui would make food-buffed stats the new base value

1.2.5
* Added a slider for foreground alpha

1.2.4
* Fixed an issue where buffed stats would be reset as normal on zoning if "Always show max" was on.
* Fixed an issue where max reductions (e.g. Daedric summons) wouldn't properly display the lowered values when "Always show max" was on.

1.2.3
* Fixed the erroneous armour values (thanks Harven!)

1.2.2
* Fixed a bug in the rewritten init that threw an error when zoning or reloading UI
* Rewrote init again to try to fix the "green values on log-in" issue. Fingers crossed.

1.2.1
* Fixed a bug where alpha would not persist through logout
* Rewrote init to try to get around the fact that the API doesn't seem to report max values correctly until a second or so after the player has loaded. Hopefully the "green values on log-in" issue is resolved by this.

1.2.0
* Added overcharge icon to overcharged stats; they can now show both as buffed/debuffed and overcharged
* Added background alpha control
* Added three new layouts: Horizontal, vertical, and square (in addition to the standard rectangle)

1.1.0
* Added settings menu and option to always show max values for Magicka, Health, and Stamina

1.0.1
* Changed how softcaps are calculated
* Changed crit values to percentages
* Changed weapon damage to correct stat
* Code clean-up

Very nice. What happens if a stat is softcaped AND Buffed/debuffed?

It will show as buffed/debuffed (green/red).

E.g. your Magicka is softcapped, so it's shown in orange. You then summon a Winged Twilight, which decreases your Max Magicka by 10%, which makes Magicka be shown in red (until you right-click to reset, then it will be shown as white or orange depending on whether it is still softcapped or not).

If you do right-click to reset it and then desummon your Twilight, your Magicka will be shown as green, since it is effectively buffed. Again, you can right-click to reset everything to current values.

I thought about having softcapped stats always shown in orange, but decided it's more important to see whether a stat is buffed/debuffed than whether it is softcapped.

pretty awesome idea

some notes:

great to be able to adjust size, transparency, background, or hide when menus are up

doesn't update some stats (example, popping weapon damage buff doesn't update the weapon damage, although it's updated in the character sheet)

don't really understand the purpose of the right click...moreover it's sort of an inconvenience to be having to right click to "reset" stats.....is it not possible to just have live stats all throughout?

I'll add these to my feature request list.

Thanks, I'll have a look at that.

Sure, but when do you decide "this is my new base"? That's what right-click is for, it says basically "these values are normal".

Love it.

I don't need to see current magicka, health, or stamina levels. I'd like to only see the maxes. Is that a possible modification?

Also in regards to see if things are overcharged (even with buffed or debuffed). Is it possible to add the Overcharge lightning bolt icon next to them maybe?

eg: My Health Regen is 38, when buffed it goes over charged to 55. It's now green (for buffed), but doesn't show an overcharge indicator.

I've noticed very rarely when something gets buffed and returns to normal it remains green, but I haven't been able to replicate it.

well, what i'm getting at, is it'd be awesome if it had the option to just display the "live" stats as most current on your character sheet

Could you have a look to see if the latest version updates weapon damage correctly for you?

I was using the wrong stat (STAT_WEAPON_POWER), but changed this to STAT_POWER in 1.0.1, which seems to work fine on my end.

yeah, now it look right.

So, you know, there is little thing what must be changed: HP, Mafica and Stamina. You showing the current state of it, but more logical will be show the maximum values of it. Now it really double the information of any player frame addon: I'm start running and my stamina goes red. Why? I know what my stamina is going out. But if my max HP will be debuffed - I'll never know this with your addon, coz in battle my HP will be always red.
So, this number must show the maximum values.

Also, does it possible to move HP numbers at the 1st string and the MP number - at the 2nd?

I see what you mean, although I think it could be argued as easily that your stamina or HP in fact IS debuffed when you're in combat - not from their max values, but from their current values.

Anyway, I'll look into adding "Always show max values" as an option.

It's possible; I have plans on providing at least three layouts: single column, two columns, and the current four columns.

This is implemented in version 1.1.0. Toggle the setting on in the OmniStats section of the AddOn menu, and you will not have your Magicka, Health, or Stamina deplete and show as debuffed.

Excellent.

Any word on being able to show overcharges with an icon or something next to the value?

I've identified what the name of the standard overcharged icon is, so it'll likely be implemented in the next version.

I know, it's listed under Known Issues. As stated there, I currently don't know how to get from the value reported by the API to the value displayed on the character screen.

The API call I make is supposed to add all bonuses, but it seems that in the case of armour it does not always do that.

I haven't been able to determine what is causing the issue; for some of my characters it does report the correct value, but for some it doesn't.

I'll keep plugging away at it until I get it right though.
