This is my fork of the very useful, but apparently abandoned addon
The Elder Bar by Eldrni.

I took the liberty of rewriting much of its code (fixing some bugs, adding a bit of new functionality and shortening it by 40% by replacing repeated code with function calls…). Since the last version of The Elder Bar (TEB) was 10.3.0, I started numbering versions of The Elder Bar Reloaded from 11.0.0. It is now compatible with API version 100035 (Update 29 "Blackwood").

LibSavedVars is now a mandatory dependency, in addition to LibAddonMenu-2.0 and LibFoodDrinkBuff.
LibClockTST is optional dependency, needed only for showing Tamriel time/date.

Please report bugs in the comments section or directly to me.

For some reason, your SavedVariables/TEB.lua does not contain either pve or pvp section under gadgets.

My research timers are monochrome as well, even though the rest of the gadgets are in color. But they're visible again!

Find "Show this gadget" option under "Research Timers", set it to "always" - this should make the timers visible when gadgets are locked as well.

I reset my variables and tinkered with the settings a bit. The research timers appear, but only if the gadgets are unlocked. They are all still monochrome as well.
There is progress and I'm happy to see my timers again

I can enable under the settings, but they do not appear on the bar. Several other gadgets are also broken

You're not missing anything, all settings are per account rather than per character (so you can have different settings for EU/NA/PTS servers, but not for different toons on the same server). Maybe some day I'll change it, but there seems to be very little demand for that. If silvereyes333 ever does what you can see here under "Planned Features" it should make such a change much more likely, because The Elder Bar relies on LibSavedVars and LibAddonMenu-2.0 to manage settings.

no global bar

im probably missing something in the setup, but how to make this NOT global across all my characters? I have some that i want certain things on/off. when i make those changes it affects all my characters bars.

loving the bar btw!
