Since I think there's some lacks in the ZOS Group Frame, I created my own.

Functionalities:
It shows Health bars and text (current, max and %).
You can change the size of the frame and the width of the Bars.
You can change the background, change is transparency or disable it.

I really like your chain function. Would you allow other users to use that function in their addons? It is very helpful when setting up elements.

Really nice.

These look really nice, they seem to have a look about them that is more clean than the default, but also look like they belong with the UI.

Any chance you'll be making one that replaces the player health, magicka and stamina bars with these styles so they fit too (just not combined into 1 frame)?

I'd also love to see the action bars with a style that will go with them too. As I never really liked them. I can't code for the life of me. But I'd love to be able to make art for UI elements, I use to design banners, logos and website templates and sell them, but never could code anything. If there was some basic framework for code that was easy to understand, or maybe some kind of GUI in game to let me choose images I created from a folder inside the addon folder, in game - then I might be able to make my own UI stuff. My design skills are pretty good, just not quite as good as Zork's from WoW. I'd like to see what he comes up with as well. He's got some pretty sweet design skills, far more advanced than I have.

I'm already on a Player/Target UI AddOn. It should be released this week if I have time.

For now I'm using arts from the game directly. I will try to add some of my own soon after my next AddOn.

I'm not 100% sure, but I had a problem when I had your addon enabled. Inbetween fights, I lost the ability to attack/cast abilities. Had to double tap alt to regain attack/casting. Disabled you addon and it stopped doing this.

Trading

When I have this addon enabled, my mouse isn't released when I go to trade with someone. I can accept trades (keyboard function), but I cannot use my mouse to add anything to the trade window.

I'm not sure if it's just me, or what, as a group window UI affecting trading seems like it would be kind of odd. I have several other addons, but had them all disabled when I was testing that it was for sure Unity Group Frame that was triggering it.

Thank you for all your work on the various UI pieces, hugely appreciated.

Edit: I'm on the beta weekend, not the PTS. Just realized this might be important info!

I added Group-Frame today, so I could test it with my battle-companion tonight, and I'd say something similar happened. I had to hit ESC twice to get attack back.

It's an issue with the week end version. It has to do with Show/hide Cursor API.

Group Frame

Lord (well, or Lady - I know not ) Lyeos

I confess - I haven't had a chance to test this in Group yet (my battle companion is busy today with matters of the Land Called Real). But if it behaves as I think it looks (to me at least) like it does, it will go a long way to helping. Because one of our biggest issues with TESO so far is that, while Grouped, we just don't feel grouped. If we can continually see each other's HP/ MP/ SP, without having to find each other and mouse over, at least we might feel a little more 'connected'. Plus, if one of us sees the other's HP, say, fluctuating, it's a good bet the other is under attack, and might be in need of aid.
To that end, and I know nothing of coding here, I wondered two things:

1: Could the 'fade out if out of range' be made optional, or maybe a half-fade? That was the group 'feel' doesn't have to break, and we'd know whoever was incoming had further to run, but we'd still know comin'-a-runnin' might be a good idea .

2: Without going into the whole mini-map argument (for or against), and again without knowing if it's even possible, if each group member had some form of compass pointer next to them showing the current direction they were relative to me, it would sure help in finding them in the whole 'come-a-running' thing above - we find keeping track of where each of us is is a PITA .

I'd be interested in your thoughts - even if only to know why none of it can be done, so I don't pester anyone about it .

Yes, I can add that to the next version
It's a SupportRange is a true or false return, so I can't make it "More Closer -> Lesser it fades" but i can Add a ON/OFF and a slider for the value.

I'm already trying to do something like that, but as I said before SupportRange don't send me the distance value.
Also Map Coords are absolute, wich the coords are scaled to the map size.
but I'm working on it

conflict with bookcases

i have tested and this mod is the culprit.

bookcases no longer close immediately when you walk backwards from reading a bookcase, instead they close when you go out of range and then it messes up the combat because (i think) the game still thinks you are in bookcase and you cannot attack. to fix it i press esc and everything works again.

Exclamation Way shrine using impossible!

First of all: Great addon! I like the point to change the position of the group frame to have a better overview.

BUT:
If i have the UGF enabled, its impossible to use a way shrine to travel!
If i go to a shrine, i aktivate it and its popping the map up, but thats it! No scrolling nor mousepointer!
Your raidframe is working w/o problems so far i have tested it, but with the group frames enabled, i had to disable it on every way shrine to travel
