This is Synced Account Settings by Jodynn revived, updated & improved (UI and code).
If there is any bug or any setting you need missing in the list, please report in the comment section.

Syncs your per character settings for you so it makes them account wide.

You log onto a character you like their settings, you go into this addon settings (by typing /accountsettings in chat or go to the game menus: settings -> addons -> Account Settings) and click save settings, confirm that, yes you want to do that, make sure sync is on and you're good.
(or you can just type /accountsync in chat to save the current settings)

For Chat window size and position you'll have to click the save button in the chat window, this will be saved but not applied for Perfect Pixel users.

Now anytime you log in on all of your characters, after 5 seconds the addon will do it's magic and you will have the same settings you did have whenever you pressed that button.

Settings:
[Sync] - Toggle automatically sync your current character settings to your saved character settings once saved
[Show/Hide Chat Button] - Ability to hide the save chat button
[Save character settings] - Save the settings of this character at this point and time, it will be automatically applied to all other characters 5s after log in.
[Save ALL settings] - Save all settings including the account wide ones, they then can only be loaded with the [Restore ALL settings] button.
[Restore ALL settings] - Restore all settings saved with the [Save ALL settings] button, USE ONLY IN RARE CASE AND AT YOUR OWN RISK.
[Log] - Toggle log messages about saved/synced.
[Debug] - Toggle log messages about debug.
[List of settings] - Here you can toggle which settings saved with the [Save character settings] button will be auto loaded 5s after character log in (artificially making them account wide), all are "on" by default.

That's exactly how the addon works, what do you want to achieve?

I guess you guys come from the old abandoned version of Synced Account Settings and learned to use a bad design I removed (apply all settings at each loadscreen) to completely change your chat window shape or other settings and then you now still count on loadscreens to fix that. Am I right?

The settings apply once on character change only on my version.

I guess you're right, so in that case, there's no issue...

Another thing, though: tutorials will turn themselves on after porting to a house when creating a new character.

Ok then that's probably the two addons having contradictory chat settings, I make make synced account settings not restore the chat settings if that pChat option is on.

Edit: try version 2024.01.16 and report.

No change; camera won't reset after loadscreen, whether by porting to different wayshrines in a zone or changing zones entirely. Only /reloadui and changing characters works.

mmmh lootdrop has a setting for toggling that (I remember because I added it) try to look if it is that setting which is interfering.
