DependenciesDescription
Shows group pins in different colors and/or icons.

There are four modi for the icons:
  • Simple (ZOS default)
  • Class
  • AvA/PvP Rank
  • Role
There are two modi for the color:
  • Simple: One color for the leader and one color for all members
  • Health: Healthy: 75-100%, Trouble 50-75%, Wounded <50% and Dead (0%)

It also works with my mini map. I don't know, if the other mini maps would update the pins fast enough.

Remarks
If you feel dissatisfied with the second main menu entry for "Addons", take a look at Harven's AS to LAM adapter.

Zeigt die Gruppenmarker in anderen Farben und/oder Symbolen.

Es gibt vier Modi für die Symbole:
  • Einfach (ZOS Standard)
  • Klasse
  • AvA/PvP Rang
  • Rolle
Es gibt zwei Modi für die Farbe:
  • Einfach: Eine Farbe fü den Anführer und eine Farbe für alle Mitglieder
  • Gesundheit: Gesund: 75-100%, Schwierigkeiten 50-75%, Verletzt <50% and Tot (0%)

Es funktioniert auch mit meiner Mini Map. Ich wweis nicht, ob die anderen Mini Maps die Marker schnell genug aktualisieren würden.

Wenn Du nicht mit dem zweiten Hauptmenüeintrag für "Erweiterungen" leben kannst, schau Dir mal Harven's AS to LAM adapter an.

I guess you installed this addon while ESO was running. Now you have a Shader-Cache problem. You have to delete the "ShaderCache.cooked" file in your "live" folder before starting the ESO client.
Or you unzipped it in the wrong location. It has to be "AddOns\VotansMiniMap".

Player pin in minimap gone

Hi! I downloaded this addon today, but noticed right away that the pin indicating my position in the minimap (also by you) as well as on the main map is invisible. I made sure that there's no other addon causing this error. When I disabled this addon the pin returned. My companion's pin is still visible though, so at least I have a slight indicator of where I am lol
Any way to fix this?

Well, it is not my fault, if Fyrakin's pins do not implement the same functions as the real pins.
The pin should provide it as: pin:GetUnitTag().
It should work, if you insert the following in the file MiniMap.lua between the lines 4233 and 4234
Lua Code:
  1. pin.GetUnitTag = function(self) return self.unitTag end
It should look like this:
Lua Code:
  1. end
  2. pin.GetUnitTag = function(self) return self.unitTag end
  3. pin.ClassId = GetUnitClassId(tag)

I deleted the whole group pins addon folder and reinstalled it, that worked!

Sorry I didn't think of doing that before, I usually would have.

Well. There is no way to apply colors or textures to individual chevrons. Textures for group-leader and group-members only.
So, I would like to, but can't.
Well, this seems like some bummer! Cuz to me nameplates seem a pretty allowable thingy to get modified...
I presume, those edge-of-the-screen markers ain't touchable either?

Oh, and since you've replied this quick and this stuff is right in my face - I don't seem to find (might require better looking, yeah) a way to hide those text alerts that are located in the upper right corner of the hud. Any advise?


OH! And another thing!
Or, rather, a bold request?..
Is there a way to add transparency feature to your minimap?

Tank showing DPS icon

Hi,

I have this setup to show Roles and Health on both PVP and PVE but the Tank was given the icon for DPS in both and they only have tank selected in dungeon finder. This is on both the world map and your mini-map.

Well, this is nothing which is done in the addon. You have to add some lines at the end to modify some ZOS data directly:
Lua Code:
  1. ZO_MapPin.PIN_DATA[MAP_PIN_TYPE_GROUP_LEADER].size = 32
  2. ZO_MapPin.PIN_DATA[MAP_PIN_TYPE_GROUP].size = 32
