This is my fork of the very useful, but apparently abandoned addon
The Elder Bar by Eldrni. Since the last version of The Elder Bar (TEB) was 10.3.0, I started numbering versions of The Elder Bar Reloaded from 11.0.0.

LibSavedVars is now a mandatory dependency, in addition to LibAddonMenu-2.0 and LibFoodDrinkBuff.
LibClockTST is optional dependency, needed only for showing Tamriel time/date.
LibAddonMenu-DatePicker is also optional dependency, needed for ESO+ subscription gadget.

Error

After changing a "Char" from werewolf to vampire, I get a LUA error.
Let's see if I can still get the error text copied.


EDIT:
After a change of character - and back again - everything is fine. now i'm doing the vampire quest. was probably a bit premature. sry.

It's not just you. The only file in the zip is TEB.lua and it contains TEBSavedVariables, not the addon code.

It's not just you. The only file in the zip is TEB.lua and it contains TEBSavedVariables, not the addon code.

My girlfriend turned me on to this handy addon and it's very useful. Thanks for taking it on!

I was wondering if you could add a bar entry for Companion Rapport and Rapport Level?

It beats typing in the script command GetActiveCompanionRapport() whenever I want to see it.

Kill counter

it seems that the kill counter of the bar in PvP is buggy. from the three values, I can't see the value from the supported kills. I see the skull and the only 2 values.

Red bar issue, and enhancement to icon colorization

First off, thanks so much for keeping TEB always improving. You're amazing, and it very appreciated.

I did want to let you know about an issue that my wife and I have been experiencing for a week or two now, that I'm simply had to start patching TEB.lua whenever you do an update. Granted, I do wait to see if you've fixed it every time, but at this point, I'm thinking you might not know about it. Whenever we log in on any character, the bar is red (like, the combat feature) and bordered, but the combat opacity is set to zero, and the option to 'red' the bar when in combat is turned off for us both. Simply opening the options and clicking on the (already zero) opacity setting fixes it until the UI is reloaded or a new toon is logged into. I've been working around the issue by just patching as such...

... and this stops the symptom. I hope that might give you an insight, but I've not modded ESO in seven years, so I barely know where to poke around.

Also, I wanted to ask about the potential to have an option that rolls back a recent (like, the last update) feature. Previously, the icons (when colored) looked great along side color-coded numbers/text. After this most recent update, however, I'm seeing the icons matching the text color, and to be frank, I think it makes things much more difficult to visually identify. I know there is the option for monochrome/colored icons, but setting it to monochrome (which still isn't what I'm asking for, mind you) still makes the icons match the warn/danger/etc. colors. Could we perhaps get a toggle that indicates whether or not we want the status colors applied to the icons as well as the text, or perhaps a status colorization setting with 'none/icons/text/both'-type options? Hopefully I'm making sense and not asking for the moon. If it's not something you will be considering or working in, please let me know so I can see if I can get it on my own.

This part suggests that, in fact, your saved variables are not saving at all (you can check by comparing modification times on the SavedVariables/TEB.lua before and after reload/relog - I strongly suspect it will be unchanged. I apologize for the delay. The saved variables file does appear to be getting modified as the edit timestamp in Windows Explorer changes after logging into ESO. I've mostly been able to work around it by directly changing the default enabled gadgets within the saved variables file to what I want. My direct editing does not appear to get overwritten.
I did notice there were two listings for "mount" in the PVE Gadgets section when there should have only been one. After I modified the lists the erroneous second listing didn't come back.
