Auto Recharge (and repair)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.68
by: XanDDemoX, Baertram
Recharges and repairs your equipped weapons and amour automatically upon entering and leaving combat.

A single soul gem will be consumed per weapon recharged in the order of worst to best (e.g lesser soul gems will be used before common).

A single repair kit will be consumed per piece of armour recharged in the order of worst to best (e.g common repair kits will be used before greater).

Features
-Recharge weapons if the charge drops below a threshold (at combat start, in combat, and after combat, optionally: As weapon pair changes)
-Repair equipment if they drop below a threshold (at combat start, in combat, and after combat, optionally: No crown repair kits will be used)
-Remind me after login/as fight ends if my soul gems drop below a threshold
-Remind me after login/as fight ends if my repair kits drop below a threshold
-Show my number of repair kits left at a vendor
-Show info about what happened in the chat
-Suppress chat messages if nothing was done etc.
-Multi language support was added

Usage
You are able to setup everything in the LAM settings menu.

Automatic Charging
/arc Attempts to recharge the currently equipped primary and secondary weapons.
/arc + Enable automatic equipped weapons recharging (you can also use the localized value on, an, на).
/arc - Disable automatic equipped weapons recharging (you can also use the localized value off, aus, от).
/arc 0-99 Set the minimum charge percentage

Automatic Repair
/arp Attempts to repair the currently equipped armour.
/arp + Enable automatic amour repairing (you can also use the localized value on, an, на).
/arp - Disable automatic armour repairing (you can also use the localized value off, aus, от).
/arp 0-99 Set the minimum condition percentage

Re: Re: Account-Wide Setting Error Message

Test with DE and EN client. No problems, all created properly within LAM.
With my normal install and a fresh installed version with deleted SavedVariables.
Using account wide or non account wide settings.
So far not able to rebuild this problem.

But I found out that this setting is not properly saving respecting the server so I need to fix this.
Worked on the multiple "already repaired" messages, hopefully they are fixed as well with the current beta version.

Hm, this would only happen if the SavedVariables files are somehow broken.
Could you please logout, and navigate with the file explorer to the SV folder (read here how to find it, normally it's c:\users\your windows username\documents\elder scrolls online\live\SavedVariables), and then backup the file Recharge.lua.
Then send me this file to my email: [email protected] and please write me which server, @accountName and which characterName the problem occurs with.
I'll test with your settings file then if I'm able to see what is wrong and if I can fix this.

You could try meanwhile, after sending me your SV file AND having done a backup of it, to delete the file (keep the backup) and then login again and reconfigure the addon. Does the error message disappear then and is all fine?

It's the standard ESO vanilla UI message shown at the top right corner of the screen, if something is trying to repair an item which is at 100%. You can try it yourself manually with any repair kit or a crown repair kit e.g.

But it could be that AR is trying to repair an item which is at 100% already, though this message then should only happen if a crown repair kit was used. Did you choose to let AR use Crown Repair kits and it's used as any other equipped item was at 100% already?
Or did you disable the crown repair kit usage?

If crown repair kit usage was disabled this message shouldn't appear as the items which get repaired are repaired by normal repair kits and if the item is at 100% already it won't be tried to repair anymore.

Are you sure the addon used a Crown repair kit and not any small or other you had in your bag?

The addon will scan your bag via an API function for repair kits: IsItemRepairKit(bagId, slotIndex).
After that it will collect the info about the repair kit what ZOs names it, tier: tier 1= smallest, ... up to highest tier = crown store kit (at least this was the highest the last time I have checked it).
The addon will then sort the kits by their tier, having the highest on top so that you'll repair "with the best" kit.

The addon then will just check your threshold values and uses the repair kits as defined in the scanned bag's repair kit list, and if it's a crown repair kit it will use that repair kit as if you'd use it manually from your bag, and the same way as normal repair kits are used.
-> So the first item that needs a repair would repair all items.
-> The next item that would have needed a repair was repaired by the crown kit at the item before, and does not need to be repaired anymore.
Exception: The crown repair item could not repair up > your set threshold value, then it would need another repair kit.

If the use function of ZOs does not repair the same as it does if you manually use it, something is broken in ZOs code and you'd need to tell the game devs to fix this please.

But please make sure to test this again with ONLY AutoRecharge enbaled and really make sure you only got like 1 crown repair kit in your bagpack (move all others to the bank or other chars e.g.) and e.g. 3 of your worn items are damaged below your threshold (maybe chage the threshold for testing purpose to 98% or similar so you only need to run into a group of enemies and let you get beaten a bit).

If youa re able to reproduce this "error" please tell me the steps in detail how I can manage to do it by myself and I'll have a look if I need to exclude crown repair kits from the normal ones, and let them be used by different means somehow (if possible).

With the upcoming patch and inventory changes I will need a lot of time for AdvancedFilters, FCOIS, and other addons though so do not expect me to work on this here soon, sorry and thanks for your understanding.

Hey there,

any news on your bug report? Were you able to test it without other addons enabled, and does it work then?

If it does not work with all other addons disabled please send me your Recharge.lua SavedVariables file (should be located in c:\users\your windows user name\documents\elders crolls online\live\SavedVariables) via email to
[email protected]
And provide me the information what is not working, which @account and CharacterName you were using.
I'll test it with your settings on my setup then and try to find the problem.

Thanks
Hi !
Well, after your message i just bind a force repair to my mouse and manage this with my alt. Problem persist but didn't had time to make more troobleshooting (like you advices) And i also got a new job (off topic sorry, but it explain why i got less time in game)

Technically, all my characters use the exact same settings (only my MagBlade have 1 more addons to track GrimFocus.
I'll try to do that in the next days, and will provide all the document you asked. Thanks for taking care of it

No sorry, works fine on all my toons.
Please try if it works as you disabled ALL other addons, and then check which addons are enable on your alt where it does not work. Maybe another addon breaks it.
You need to enable these other addons (the delta) one after another to check which one is cuasing it.

If you are using the same addons on both toons try to check if the settings are different in the used addons.
And please ALWAYS AT LEAST ONCE check with all addons disabled, if it is working then. This is always the best to do and check on your end if something is not working, before reporting it.

Re: Re: Account wide options and chat not working

No problem.
If it's only about the missing text in your chat (pChat) like ("Recharged X xx.xx%") then check if you got LibDebugLogger enabled.
Most probably this is the case because of pChat.
If LibDebugLogger is active AND DebugLogViewer as well (UI to show the entries of the log files of LibDebugLogger) then the chat d() (debug messages) of addons are ONLY shown in the LibDebugLogger filees -> DebugLogViewer UI.
So open the UI of DebugLogViewer and check if you see the messages in there.

I cannot change this to show in the pChat chat as well for the moment. Some major chat changes need to come and a new library LibChatmessage2 but this is a future task.

You can enable the quick debug log viewer UI (at the bottom right edge of the screen) e.g. to show these messages from addon output.
I got used to it as the chat is clean from addon messages this way and you got a 2nd UI to just show output of addons + able to filetr for debug messages (only needed if you wnt to debug something or provide info to addon authors), info messages (these are the messages that addons will use if theyx write via d(text) to the chat, and others + filter by addon name e.g. pChat only (if the addon "explicitly uses LibDebugLogger" and not only is using d() messages).

Do you get any lua error messages after login, reloadui?

If this is the case (lua error messages):
Tell me the error message here completely expanded (showing all variables in the error message).

If this is not the case:
Could you please send me your SavedVariable files to [email protected].
Please tell me in the mail the account name and the character name you have tested with.

And describe what the problem is in your email please:
Your problem ist that allthough character settings are enabled all chars are using the same account settings? If you change (which setting in detail -> Please give an example in the mail!) a setting and logout, login with another char, the setting was chanegd for the new logged in char as well?

And the chat output of text is not working?

Ever since I adjusted some of this plugin's settings, these no longer work. I even uninstalled (and deleted saved vars) and re-installed. I have not installed any new addons since then.

* All settings are account wide, even though "account wide settings" is now OFF again (I had set it to ON once to test).

* No chat messages are displayed now, whether pChat addon is enabled or disabled (normal chat).

Any ideas, advice? Thx!
