For Mac users and people whos afraid of exe file. Webclient (beta) is available online. Go to http://tamrieltradecentre.com/ and select your region. Click on Addon -> Webclient and follow the instructions

LuaSerializer is now on GitHub https://github.com/alt22247/LuaSerializer

Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction:

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

In game API
1. To get TTC's price info simply do TamrielTradeCentrePrice:GetPriceInfo(itemLink)
This will return a TamrielTradeCentre_PriceInfo Object
Code:
{
       Avg,
       Max,
       Min,
       EntryCount, --# of listings
       AmountCount, --total # of items
SuggestedPrice --suggested price low. Suggested high = SuggestedPrice * 1.25
}
2. To get TTC's internal item information (various internal Ids)
TamrielTradeCentre_ItemInfo:New(itemLink)

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between MM's price and TTC's price?
TTC uses the listing price and the MM uses sold price. By statistic and Economic, those two numbers should align given enough sample set

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

4. Fixed an issue causing last updated string to show up in native client's locale instead of target locale when using price to chat with a different locale than the native one.

Client 3.23 Release Notes:
1. Fixed two compatibility issues with Awesome Guild Store (more to come later)
a) Price not showing in store page when AGS is enabled
b) UI error when trying to purchage item when AGS is enabled
2. Updated the logic for personal listings to be consistant with community scanned ones. Last seen for personal listings will only get updated when user opens the guild store and click on the listings tab or when user lists new item/remove existing item from the store. (Used to be based on user's last login. However ZOS's API seems to skip some entries and thus causing the cached version to be unreliable. Causes more confusion than good to use the login time due to this)
3. Fixed an issue causing price to chat to show up multiple times when the language of the current client's locale is selected
4. Uses sub menu for price to chat when there is more than one language selected
5. Removed the one time guild store scan due to point 2

3. Added the ability to do price to chat in different languages regardless of client's locale

Known issue: The new ESO Guild Store UI has a bug which it will not update the UI listings when the search is initiated with API calls. Thus you are going to see the search result panel stay the same thru out the whole scan process.

P.S. New items will be added in batch. Thanks for your patience.

5. other small fixes

Client 3.10 Release Notes:

Before you post

This section is reserved for addon related issues only.

For website issues please use this thread instead (https://www.esoui.com/forums/showthr...5994#post45994)

To people who are super privacy concerned TTC now offers first party ad only option which only consists a preloaded picture and a referral link. No ad server no tracking no privacy concern and no security adjustment needed.

Hopefully thats a good enough solution to everyone.

P.S. again no discussion in this section please. Head to the forum post instead.

You might wish to include a README or other documentation reminding people to unzip the files into the Addons\TamrielTradeCentre folder itself, not into Client or another folder.

I much prefer this method to having one more resident daemon, personally.
Cheers, good idea - I will add a README.

I'm thinking of making it so they can be placed in any folder, I'm not sure the install directory for addons can ever differ from the default.

Either way, I'll be adding some scripts that can be placed in the Startup folder so it can run on login to Windows.
This is done - in v3 I've added a README, and the .cmd files can now be moved to the Startup folder or Desktop, etc, and should still be able to trigger the PowerShell scripts.

This just replicates the manual process for updating them (downloads the .zip, unpacks it)
Installed and working - very helpful on computers having trouble runnng the TTC Client.exe. Depending on your Windows version and configuration, you may need to enable running PS1 scripts - see this article:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/po...powershell-7.3
Thanks for confirming it works for other people!
I'm not sure what the default execution policy is on a standard Windows install - I don't THINK I changed mine, but perhaps I did. I can add a .cmd file to get round this, I think - which would also be helpful for running it once on startup.
I'll have a look after work!
OK this is done - I'm uploading v2 in a minute, with .cmd files that set the policy to Unrestricted before execution; this should hopefully work even if PS1 scripts aren't directly enabled.
Also fixed a bug - it wasn't overwriting existing files!

If you need this crap to make money, you should try working instead of annoying people.

Hey Sirb,

i know I'm not the Author or related to the Addon in any way but i have to say something to you.
Do you know how much an Infrastructure like TTCs cost?
The website? the Google Business Account for the Datasheets? The time to programm the Addon and also the Client? The traffic? The Designworks?
You have to remember that we Addon developers do all this in our free time and make no Money out of it. The Advertisement on the page is to pay the bills of the Addon that YOU use. The capchas are there because there are Spam and Crawler bots non-stop trying to take the Site down and exceeding traffic.
This site and the addon is used by hundrets of thounsands of users every day. The Infrastructure that holds all these request is expensive. Its not just a RaspberryPi in a shed somewhere in Mexico.
And thats not everything... Most gamers use Adblockers so most of the Ads just run into the void. Usually you get like 1 cent per 1000 views or so ( thats an example). So even if 100k users are there every day and 80% of them use Adblockers you get like 20 cents for it. Do you really think that your outrage is
justified?
If you are so unhappy about this and when it anoys you, just don't use it. But please stop calling people they should go to work if you know **** about them. Thats just very very unfriendly.

Thanks for laying this out and really appreciate the understanding!

If you need this crap to make money, you should try working instead of annoying people.

Sorry but the captcha is required to block off bots from abusing TTC's server resource.

The server got brought down several times before and thats why I had to introduce captcha wall to keep it alive.

The captcha is provided by Google and has two components:

1. It has a hidden test which estimates how likely you are a bot with machine learning algorithm.
2. If the first test says you are likely a bot then the second level captcha system will kick in.

There are few things you can do to reduce the likelihood of being flagged as bot for the 1st test
1. Do NOT disable cookie. Google will need to have some way to keep track of the machine learning progress. If you disable cookie then they will see you as a new user every time. And if all the requests coming from your IP are all new users then it would look super suspicious.
2. Do NOT use browser addons which would interfere w/ Google's captcha service. (for example ad blocker which attempts to block all Google's service including captcha)
3. Do not use any automation software/addon to query TTC such as a custom web client or an auto refresher.
4. Do not wait too long to solve the captcha
5. Try not to use VPN as it will greatly increase your chance of being identified as bot if someone is botting using the same VPN software as you

It might take couple weeks before your score returns to normal depending on your usage.

And just one tip. If you are opening up several windows at once. You only have to solve captcha on one window and refresh the rest.

Hey Sirb,

i know I'm not the Author or related to the Addon in any way but i have to say something to you.
