FCO ChangeStuff

Simple tool to change a few UI related things.
You need to enable each setting in the LAM settings menu (Press ESC key inagme and choose "Addon settings" from the menu), otherwise they'll stay at their default value: disabled!



-Setting to show context menus (at small triangle, or gear/settings, buttons) at the "Mail send" panel. Provides last 10 used recipients/subjects/texts, favorites, and automatic load of last used upon next mail/open of the mail send panel
-Setting to hide your crown store points in the main menu
-Setting to hide the crown store button
-Setting to hide the crowns left
-Setting to hide the ESO plus member info in the main menu
-Setting to re-open the map again if you had the map opened while you are mounting
-Setting to show checkboxes at the map filter to enable all/disable all map filters
-Setting to "bounce the player icon" on the map upon opening it (works with Votans Minimap as well)
-Setting to hide the map's quest/zone helper (at the left)
-Setting to show the real champion points (> 561 currently) in your group list, guild rosters and friends list
-Setting to block training of the mount (speed, stamina or carry). If two of the 3 are maxed out the settings are disabled automatically.
-Setting to show an "AddOn" button in the main menu to directly open the addon settings panel
-Setting to show an "switch between light/medium armor" button in the clothing create crafting tab.
Click to switch between light/medium selected item type (e.g. light head->medium head) or SHIFT+click to slect the start of light/medium armor (the chest)
-Setting to remove the "new item" icon and animation in the inventories
-Setting to blacklist some chat messages according to keywords that you are able to specify (e.g. specify the word "wtt" and you'll never see the chat messages containing "wtt" anymore.
You're able to specify words, whole sentences or texts that should be searched for.
You're also able to specify if the messages should be filtered in whispers, groups and/or guilds too.
And you are able to actvate a setting to show who has posted a blocked text, containing a timestamp and the whole message + your specified keyword that was found in the message to analyze messages and build better keywords.
-Setting to show a warning message on screen if you are marked as offline and try to whisper to someone (no incoming whispers are available if you are offline!)
-Setting to mark skill lines as "not relevant"/"relevant again"
You are able to mark a skill line as "not relevant"/"relevant again". The entry will be grayed out and gets the status icon set to a red X if it's marked as not relevant. Right click the skill line to show the context menu.
-Setting to silence the "You are enlightened" sound
-Setting to hide the crown store advertisements upon login. Manually calling the advertisements from the mainmenu will work.
-Setting to make the battleground HUD movable and remember it's positon on the UI
-Setting to hide the chat's new notification animation
-Setting to mute the new notification sound
-Setting to mute several selectable sounds from a list (left = available sounds, right = muted/disabled ones)
-Setting to mute the game sound after mounting for x (choosable) milliseconds to suppress the loud mount sounds, like flames or crys
-Setting to auto-decline a ready check (will not be declined if in Cyrodiil/ImperialCity/Dungeons/Raids). This will stop the goofy ready checks that some farming group players start to annoy the others.
Also provides a keybind to toggle this setting.
-Settings to change the tooltips width and/or scale the text in the tooltips
-Settings for the new action slot timers backRow (currently not active weapon pair -> active skills timers):
--Move the backRow action slot timers up/down/left/right
--Show the time left in seconds in the center of the backRow texture
--> No other features planned so please do not ask for other fonts, sizes etc! Thank you
--Fixed ZOs stack number on active weapon bar: If no timer is active anymore the stack number will be hidden now
-Setting to show collectibe name & icon + known state at the collectibles tooltip of fragments (e.g. show if you currently already own the gryphon mount that the 3 fragments would provide you, and which can be morphed if you own the flying fire stone collectible)
-Setting to suppress the trading house cancel listing confirmation dialog

Settings can be saved account wide (default value) or for each character.

Simple and just for my needs. Maybe it helps someone else.
No other features planned.

Oh well then I'm "MAYBE" not interested into doing anything here because:
The game's API does not have any proper function or values for the action names that are used there if you move the mouse above an insect or whatever. ANd the lootbox neither got unique IDs to use.

These are handled by strings and strings need translations (de, en, es, fr, ru, jp, zh, ...) and I'm not interested into collecting all of these "possible" strings in several languages, for hundreds of lootable item possibilities, to be able to filter sounds based on that...

Once I find the time I'll check if this code
audioModelType and/or audioModelMaterial code lines are relevant there and if they provide any proper "non translation dependent" values one could use to define which are blocked, and which are not blocked.

The sound is related about the loot of "Insert Parts, River Bait" or "Guts, Lake Bait" whether or not it is from butterflies, rats, jellyfish or any other kind of trashmob it comes from. For example, if from the butterflies is randomly looted the "Butterfly Wing" instead of the "Insert Parts, River Bait", the sound is obviously different (and that sound is not what I would disable).

A name of the sound named
LOOT__BAIT
should be mentioned and found in the list,
concerning any bait such as
"Insert Parts, River Bait" or "Guts, Lake Bait" or "Crawlers, Foul Bait" whether or not it is from butterflies, rats, jellyfish or any other kind of trashmob it comes from. For example, if from the butterflies is randomly looted the "Butterfly Wing" instead of the "Insert Parts, River Bait", the sound is obviously different (and that sound is not what I would disable).

I fully realize that it's not simple at all and it's much more complicated and cumbersome than imaginable, so it doesn't matter, it's not of vital importance.
Since I take a lot of those lures for fishing because I have to do a lot of fishing, I have to put up with that sound very often and I will put up with it, if it is not easy adding it to those that can be disabled.

all sounds that that game supports to be muted are in the list already (ingame table: SOUNDS)!
You need to find the correct one, I cannot say you the name of the sounds sorry.
Click the entries to play them and if you do not find it in the list then it's nothing we can change by addons, unfortunately.

Try to mute these ones:

LOOT_WINDOW_OPEN
LOOT_WINDOW_CLOSE

I just saw that there exists another function "PlayLootSound" which only affects "monster" loot:

Not sure if a butterfly or insects are handled as monsters too...

It seems to detect the sound to play based on the item below the crosshair ( GetGameCameraInteractableUnitAudioInfo() ).

As I find the time I'l have a look if the loot sounds can be intercepted.
It looks to me that the loot sounds differ if you loot a "monster" (which usually is a NPC or dead enemy, but no butterfly/insect).

I'm not able to see where those sounds looting insects diretly comes from, maybe it is the same coding.
I'll add some debug messages there, if possible and see what I can do then.
But this will take time, as I'm currently busy with non ESO things.

Hello, I' ve read your kind answer, but I do not have the technical knowledge to completely understand it.
I tried to find that particular sound in the list, but I was out of luck.
The LOOT_OPEN and LOOT_CLOSE (I found them without the word WINDOW inside) were not the right sound, unfortunatly.

Hi,

all sounds that that game supports to be muted are in the list already (ingame table: SOUNDS)!
You need to find the correct one, I cannot say you the name of the sounds sorry.
Click the entries to play them and if you do not find it in the list then it's nothing we can change by addons, unfortunately.

Try to mute these ones:

LOOT_WINDOW_OPEN
LOOT_WINDOW_CLOSE

Edit:
I just saw that there exists another function "PlayLootSound" which only affects "monster" loot:

Not sure if a butterfly or insects are handled as monsters too...

It seems to detect the sound to play based on the item below the crosshair ( GetGameCameraInteractableUnitAudioInfo() ).
Maybe one can overwrite or change it to not play any sound on loot anymore.

Hi all.

Please Baertram, is it possible to add in "disable some sounds" another sound?
I'd like to disable this sound.

Edit:
The sound is related about the loot of any bait: "Insert Parts, River Bait" or "Guts, Lake Bait" or "Crawlers, Foul Bait" whether or not it is from butterflies, rats, jellyfish or any other kind of trashmob it comes from. For example, if from the butterflies is randomly looted the "Butterfly Wing" instead of the "Insert Parts, River Bait", the sound is obviously different (and that sound is not what I would disable).

Could you add the ability to hide the "new set item" icons in the collections/set menu, similar to the setting for removing the "new item" icons in the inventories?

Still cannot reproduce this sorry.
I checked the code and all I do is check if "VOTANS_MENU_SETTINGS" addon is enabled, then hide the settings button of FCOCS at the main menu.
Everythig else is not done by FCOCS.

So if changing the setting within FCOCS to "enabled" will somehow affect the HarvensLAMSettings adapter, I do not know how and why this should happen.
Either there is code in that HarvensLAMSettings which does that itsself or there is any error message you get and you ignored it or got addons active that ignore it, like BugCatcher etc.?

Or I'm puzzled how this should be connected.
I'll do some ore tests with HarvensLAMSettings and VOTANS_MENU_SETTINGS and FCOCS and the FCOCS addon settings button as I find the time.

The addon menu buttons do not control the seperate menus! You must install and activate the Harvens Addon Menu settings LibAddonMenu adapter addon (Harven to LAM adapter) to make the menus combine into 1 LibAddonMenu settings entry!
If this is active and still fails I'm puzzled why my extra button should change this? It's a button at a totally different menu and should not affect this other addon at all, except if the other addons code checks for hardcoded number of buttons or similar...

FCOIS also adds a button there and Votans Settings too, though both do not affect the plugin. So I'm really interested why FCOCS should interfere if it does the same.

I'll have a look but I doubt it's FCOCS breaking the Harven 2 LAM plugin as I noticed the same yesterday (2 settings menus again) and FCOCS was not even active at my addons!
