Without the script RavenDT suggested they might write, the logs this addon generates are almost human-unreadable. I recommend installing ChatLogger instead, which simply ensures /chatlog is automatically enabled at all times.

Re: Your wish is my command...

Thx RavenDT for this usefull addon.
Could it be possible to choose the output format of the date and time inside the savedvariables file?
Maybe localized to some wished formats like US (DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY) and german (DD.MM.YYYY) instead of only having it like YYYY-MM-DD?

Was able to complete the addon for v1.0.0 -- It now has a channel filter.

If you have any other ideas, please let me know. I'll see what I can do.

Enjoy!

There would be no easy way to do this. You can, however, write a script to export the data from the SavedVariables file, or to parse the data and then sort it.

If there is demand for it, I can write a script that can export it to a CSV file. I am just not sure how ESOUI feels about us including scripts with our addons.

It's not, yet.

Next features will include the ability to choose which channels you wish you monitor (and which ones you don't).

Currently, it remembers if you want it on or not. It seems like the /chatlog command has to be run every single time you log on.
