Item Titan
Version: 0.3.3
by: boggo [More]

Are you a collector of sets?
No need to lie, we know you are.

Do you know how many set pieces you actually own and do you know where you have stored them? Or do you even know which pieces you’re still missing?
No need to lie, we know you don’t.

But don’t despair! Item Titan is here to assist you in getting an overview of which set pieces you still need to get hold of, which pieces you own and where you have stored them.

* No website registration required!
** To have a look at some demo data, simply go to http://www.boggo-da-muse.com/itemtitan click on «1. Enter your game data», then choose «Paste some example data».

Here’s how the AddOn works:
  1. Open inventories of all of your characters ingame and open your bank.
  2. Log out to export the gathered data into ItemTitan’s setting file (find it at «/live/SavedVariables»).
  3. Go to www.boggo-da-muse.com/itemtitan click on «1. Enter your game data» and copy/paste the content of the settings file into the corresponding formfield.
  4. Continue through the steps and finally gain an overview of all of your items and sets.
  5. Filter your sets.
  6. Create combos of your sets to your heart’s content.

Here’s what you will get:
  • A visual list of all sets of which you own at least one piece.
  • Looking for a specific set combination? Create your combos and see which piece is still missing.
  • Every owned item will be displaied with storage location, quality, binding indicator and name.
  • For every item slot the best available piece will be taken.
  • Completed subgroups will be market with a check icon.

These are your filter options:
  • Mark any set as a favourite.
  • Filter by storage location.
  • Filter Armor, Jewelry and Weapons by your deisred traits.
  • Filter by completion of set subgroups.
  • Your filter settings will be stored in a browser cookie for future visits

Not much more to add but that you won’t need to login to the webpage in order to use it. Simply get the AddOn running and then visit the webpage.

Good set hunting and enjoy!

  • lua paste didn't "stick", took 3 pastes from my editor before all the sets from all character & private bank inventories were listed.
  • The first paste only posted the inventories of the bank and 2 chars, despite all 11 chars being identified by the addon and listed in the end of the printout.
  • 2nd pass uploaded the inventories of the bank, chars 1, 2, 10, and 11, all the chars in between failed to post. Going through the lua their inventories were itemized and recorded, but they didnt post to the website.
  • After these first 2 failures I closed the browser tab and reopened it fresh from the link here, pasting the lua text a 3rd time resulted in all 11 chars and bank being posted.
  • Thanks to this addon and what I got from using the webpage, I saw a number of items I decided to get rid of. After deconning/selling what I didn't want to keep, I cycled through all the chars one more time, opening their inventory, and exiting the game to do a fresh load comparison. The web page continues to load the items I have since removed. I didn't go through the lua file line by line, but I did note that it had a new date modified time stamp on it, so I assume it updated itself to the new inventory content. (If I'm assuming this incorrectly and the lua needs to be deleted, I'll be sure to do so but wasn't sure if this was your intent or not).

Suggestions:
  • Including storage containers would be a significant enhancement to this addon.
  • Itemized trait per count if you have more than one in a given slot. I.E. there are a few sets that I maintain with Impen for one build, and another of the same set with Divines. I flip between these two configurations depending on if I'm doing PvE or PvP. This would also be useful to see if by chance, you had something that had a trait you were going to experiment with, tossed it onto a mule and then forgot it was there.

In conclusion, marked as a favorite, you've done the community a valuable service with your work.
Hi TheFherrit!
Thanks very much for your detailed feedback! This is definitely something I can work with. I'll take everything into consideration and will fix things as soon as possible.
Thanks again,

1. /itemtitanexport comes up as an invalid command.

3. Character names are the only thing it seems to be able to parse. It is also showing characters I no longer have. I don't know where that data is coming from even though I deleted and recreated ItemTitan.lua.
Hi Jhenox!
Thanks for your comment.

1. The command /itemtitanexport isn't needed anymore. Opening inventory or bank should be enough to write the data. I forgot to take that out of the addon description. Will do so immediately.

2. + 3. Could you send me the content of the file to [email protected] if you don't mind?

Thanks again!

Hello Baxpowa,
Thanks for your kind words! Yes I actually plan on fitting in set bonuses. At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to make them work visually. But I will get there. =)
Thanks again and glad you like Item Titan,
Boggo
