    Description

    What is this AddOn about?
    I like achievements and I like to know what to do to complete them and what type of achievements exist without browsing through the entire achievement catalog: This AddOn displays lightweight chat notifications if you make progress in an achievement (please see the screenshots).

    Features:
    • Shows chat notifications if you do something that is needed for an achievement
    • Triggers on each action or just in x% steps of the achievements requirements (configurable)
    • Can show some details in the chat notification like (kill 250/1000 Humanoids)
    • You can toggle the notifications for each category
    • Lightweight: It is not always present and shows up only when necessary
    • You can enable account-wide settings

    Was hat es mit dem AddOn auf sich?
    Ich mag Erfolge und weiß gerne was ich tun muss, um diese zu erledigen und was es überhaupt für Erfolge gibt, ohne das ich mir jetzt alle im Detail anschauen muss: Dieses AddOn zeigt einfache Chat-Benachrichtigungen an, wenn man einen Fortschritt in einem Erfolg erzielt (siehe die Screenshots).

    Merkmale:
    • Zeigt Chat-Benachrichtigungen, wenn etwas gemacht wird was für einen Erfolg nötig ist
    • Wird bei jeder Aktion angezeigt, oder in x% Schritten (konfigurierbar)
    • Kann weitere Details zum Erfolg anzeigen, wie (töte 250/1000 Humanoide)
    • Benachrichtigungen können für jede Kategorie einzeln (de)aktiviert werden
    • Einfach: Das AddOn ist nicht immer sichtbar, sondern ist nur präsent wenn es nötig ist
    • Accountübergreifende Einstellungen können aktiviert werden

    But I'm wondering what causes this. AchievementInfo should only write into the System Channel like all add-ons. See my comment here from 09/03/20, 09:40 PM

    What other add-ons, esp. chat add-ons are you using? I would like to reproduce that behaviour

    Hi, I like this addon because not only does it inform me about the ongoing progress on the achievements, but it also helps me to notice which action is helping me to increase the progress. There is only one thing that I would appreciate if you could change this:

    Sorry for my late response. Did find a solution? How often does this happen?
    I'm using the German client too and didn't see that yet
    1. Do you use any chat add-ons?
    2. Did you try to enable the "Output line by line" option?

    I'm not sure if that would be possible. As far as I know do all add-ons use the System Channel. But you can use an add-on like rChat or pChat to enable/disable the System output for each chat tab.

    The following screenshot is older, but it shows the available "System" option you get by installing rChat/pChat. Just tested it with rChat.


    Would that be an option for you?

    Is it possible to add a chat channel selection for the output?

    I use multiple channels to keep track of different messages and when in dungeon for exemple, even thou I do want to know every step towards an achievement, having it posted on all channels kinda ruins the very reason of having multiple channels.

    Aside from that, I love your addon mate!

    there is logic in your words, but a similar setting in other add-ons turn on account-wide settings for all characters. how it should be i think.

    LibStub was used by an included dependency.

    In version 3.0, I've removed the LibAddonMenu-2.0 dependency from the addon bundle. You have to install LibAddonMenu-2.0 on your own now, if not already done for other addons.

    So there is no LibStub in my releases anymore.
