GSA no GUI
Version: 1.4a
by: dopiate [More]
This is no longer in development. It's a dead addon now

I suggest you read the information on the main GSA page.

GSA no longer has a default GUI so this addon is redundant.

Plus new library's exist like JMTradingHouseSnapshot that would server you better if all you wanted was a data miner.

-d
12/07/2014 - Utility release
------------- added a stand-alone tool to reset GSA (along with source)
12/11/2014 - Offline component optimized and given a "face lift"
------------- as stated in the forums this is a totally optional update.
------------- If I don't keep both version at the same level it's going to be confusing
12/17/2014 - Two new features added both make the program easier to use
------------- 1) on any "report screen" - daily, calendar chosen, etc - you can now double click the line
------------ item and it will take you directly to the detailed history for that product.
------------- 2) on the options screen you can now choose to ALWAYS have results sorted by
------------- date with newest sales listed first (no more double clicking the column header!
12/17/2014 - sorting code had opposite effect in sales reports - I have fixed it :-)

That said, if you've read all of the official information thoroughly and still want to quit, best wishes. You did a really good job on Shopkeeper Classic. Hopefully someone will take over it.

Big Favor

For those of you who use this can you PM a list of other sales/pricing programs you use that it DID not conflict with.

I would love to know/confirm this information.

what would really work

If the author was interested in working with me - he could provide the data just the way I need it (in a separate file (or a summary section of his saved variables) and each time I load GSA I could import and clear the data he provided.

I don't want to do this one sided again - if he could output a GSM friendly output then it could be done in no time flat.

I don't want to go through the process of parsing an entire new format. The data is there but it's finding it, gathering it and formatting it that I don't want to go through again.

So I'm 100% up for it if the author cares. If he doesn't then I'm not putting in the time to do it all.

I'm guessing you were Brotenor and the buyer was Czenia 16000 for 50 pepper??? if so that's a damn good deal :-)

well you got me interested -- I would just need to have to understand it better

I'm NOT SAYING I will do it - especially when the author can change the way he saves his variables anytime he wants BUT ... It seems very possible.

he has almost all of what i need there LOL

here is what i use now

["buyer"]
["guild"]
["quant"] = 1,
["price"]
[ItemLink"] (i get the name from the link
["seller"]
["timestamp"]
I also gather quality, item level and some other stuff.

he has

["Date"]
["MyTrader"] (seller or buyer not sure -- is Czenia one of your toons?)
["Coin"] (cost)
["ItemType"]
["Name"] or ["Link"] either works

["ItemType"]
["Style"]
["Stack"]

ok the only issues really are - how do I tell which way the transaction went - were you the buyer or seller?

Also - it's a big confusing the way he lists ["Coin"] -- sometimes it seems to apply to multiple times

I'm not saying I'm going to do it but it doesnt look that hard.

Can you explain this transaction

Code:
["Brotenor"] =
                    {
                        ["Alliance"] = 1,
                        ["Notes"] = "",
                        ["Class"] = "Templar",
                        ["Veteranrank"] = 14,
                        ["Level"] = 50,
                        ["Gender"] = "Male",

                        ["Trades"] =

It's so funny you say that - I made like three trade deals today and wished they were in GSA

do yo use the program?

if so can you send me your saved variables - I'm just curious if it's even remotely possible.

yw

please let me know if it conflicts with any other addon

I really don't think it will - it's running in it's own little sandbox but you never know and I don't have the ability to try it against every other sales type addon.

All feedback is good feedback.
