  • Added a user-defined option to disable the mod in the menu. This is also to fix it so it will remain off when changing zones or relogging.
  • Fixed when logging in as stealthed, the player would receive a nil value error for function onStealthChange.
  • Fixed so that emotes would not run when in stealth or combat. Whoopsies.
  • Added some generic emotes to Mage, Heroic, and Tough profiles to give them more variety. Will continue to tweak profiles...
  • Fixed the usage help string conflicts with font formatting. Also added a message to tell you what profile you're currently using or if the mod is disabled.

=== 1.2 changelog ===
  • Made some whitespace consistency and code best practices changes.
  • Revamped emotes to allow for a series of emotes to be ran instead of just one. A number denotes the millisecond offset from the beginning to run the next emote. Eg: {"/point", 3000, "/doom"}
  • "Random" is now truly random. It also makes you appear like a sociopath.
  • Old "Random" renamed as "Normal" (default) profile.
  • Moved Emotes to external file to encourage editing by anyone.
  • Added Mount and Crafting Station event handling.
  • Created different IdleAnimation() instantiation for the variable animation time and pause time.
  • Added interrupting "/idle" for giving pause between animation sets.
  • Created a list of new emote sets: AdoringFan, Bard, Beggar, Crazy, Drunk, DrunkClassy, Glutton, Heroic, Mage, some additions to Normal, Religious, Sad, Tough.
  • Added command line interface to enable/disable this mod, or to switch profiles. Use: /ia
  • Changed Event Animations from submenu to header, since its not necessary to hide the options.
  • Dropdown for Profile list is dynamically generated. All content changes just need to be done in the Emotes lua script.
  • Added animation length limit.
  • Added timer between idle animation.

Are the event emote different for different profiles? for example, my Khajiit would preen, or hands on hips, my nord would drink.

Also, do I need the original addon to make this one work?

@gimpanzee - It does this currently for leveling up and some other events. There's no API event for killing a boss that I know of, however. That sucks about Minion, though.. hopefully Stratejacket can make me a co-contributor to the original page soon.

Yes! I am saved. You have put my worry to rest. I thank you. I was worried this amazing add-on would cease. I am glad you've taken it upon yourself to continue this fine creation, updating/fixing it when needed. I look forward to seeing this used in my game, once again.

I really hope you keep updating this, as it's a great idea, especially like the different profiles part

I installed using Minion, and it doesn't show in my addons list in-game. It doesn't seem to have installed properly, but minion shows it as installed.

Happy to help track down why, but have no idea why.

One idea, event based emotes added to profiles. So on say leveling up, or killing a boss, some would cheer, others preen, or put hands on hip ect.
