Cyrillic Chat Filter (Revived)  New this week!
Version: 1.1
by: Revived AddOns [More]
After trying to contact SoftDeath (aka Xerton) for more than one year, without any response from him, I'm reviving this mod by myself at this point because of the mass of Cyrillic spam.

Basic Mod: (Outdated since 2017)
https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info...hatFilter.html

Important before installing !!
If you use the outdated add-on-version by Xerton, you have to uninstall it before installing the revived version! Otherwise it could cause in .lua-errors. You even should remove the old CyrillicChatFilter.lua in your SavedVariables-Folder!

AddOns-Folder:
C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns (deafault path)

SavedVariables-Folder:
C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables (deafault path)

What I have done to revive this add-on:
1. Updates for any scripts, pathes and so on ... (including API) blah blah...
2. Removed LibAddonMenu from the add-on archive. (Note: That you have to download it now manually, look at the installation instructions below!)
3. Fixed some compatibility issues while using other Chat-add-ons.

Commands & Tips:
/channelinfo (Displays InGame the add-on tutorial)
/channelstatus (Displays all filtered basic channels. Guild 1-4 and so on...)

F: How to add your "own" channels to the list?
A: /cannel TheNameOfTheChannelYouWantToAdd , repeat this to turn off/on the filter for this channel.
Note: That the "< >" i've used in the InGame tutorial are just for placeholding , they are not needed to add your channel , you can also turn on/off the filters for the deafault channels in the addon-settings-menu!

Manuall install:
1: Download CyrillicChatFilter (Revived) and if not allready installed, you have to download the LibAddonMenu too. https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info7-LibAddonMenu.html
2: Navigate to your ESO-AddOns folder: (default path) C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
3: Double click on both .zip-files , drag & drop the folder to the AddOns folder loacation or choose the "extract to" option.

Known issues & errors:
Nope looks fine! If you have any problems, please send me a message with the error-log and a list of all your installed AddOns.
1.1
The LibAddonMenu-2.0 was removed from the archive. You have to download it manually now, if it's not already installed or a part of any other installed add-ons.

If that's the truth, it could be the reason why there is no way to contact him anymore.

You're right this should be the best because most people have installed the LibAddonMenu anyways for other mods, so there is no need for including it to the .zip-files any more.

So, add-on edited...

Thanks but please do not include the libraries anymore into the addons.
Just put the following into the addon's txt file:
##DependsOn: LibAddonMenu-2.0

This will make sure the library is given or the addon cannot be loaded.
If you include the library it wil lbe outdated soon after next update and you'd need to update the addon only because of the lib, which can be installed seperately and thus updated seperately like an addon, and will be up2date this way.
