Crafting Build Alert
Author: Mightyjo

Depends on:
- LibAddonMenu-2.0

Optionally depends on:
- LibZone
- LibDebugLogger
- DebugLogViewer

This add-on will remind you to switch to a specified crafting build in your ESO Armory whenever you interact with a crafting station while equipped with another build.

It will also remind you to switch to a clobbering build in your ESO Armory if you enter a dungeon, trial, or arena wearing your crafting build.

Prior to the Armory in 7.2.5 I kept separate toons for crafting, DPS, tanking, etc. Mostly because I don't have enough CP on any of mine to do it all yet. The Armory made is feasible for my CP800 crafter magcro to DPS a dungeon, then swap champion passives around and decon his loot with maximum drops. Provided, of course, I remember to switch Armory builds before hitting the crafting station. I've deconned on my DPS build so many times and lost so many Dreugh Wax

If I had lots of toons with CP2000+ they'd all have the crafting tree built out all the time. I'd use Jack of All Trades to swap my slotted CP abilities on demand. At low CP I still have them specialized for crafting, gathering, fishing, etc. and changing my passives around with gold is expensive compared to using my free-ish Armory slots.

Back Up Your Saved Variables
Starting with v1.1.0 I've used an in-place upgrade that should preserve your settings. It's done on a character by character basis so if something goes wrong on the first toon, you have time to back up the rest of your settings before continuing.

Settings
You can turn on debug logging if you're having a problem. If you have DebugLogViewer installed you'll be able to see the add-on working in a UI window. Otherwise, the log is stored in your saved variables whenever you quit or /reloadui.

Set your crafting build per character in the Settings->Addons->Crafting Build Alert menu, then switch to it at an armory station or with your helper.

You can turn off zone-based build alerts per character if they are too frequent, you're gathering in the underworld, or you just don't like them.

Support
If you need help or find a bug, open an issue on the GitHub issue tracker at https://github.com/Mightyjo/Crafting-Build-Alert/issues.

Thank you for making this addon! I've disassembled way too many items on the wrong builds before, this is going to help out a lot

Thanks for the feedback! I'll add a description of the use case to the front page.

I guess the build contains different CPs and slotetd stars at the CPs for the crafting stuff and it changes the CPs then
(Master Gatherer, Plentiful Harvest, Meticulous Disassembly, etc.)
if you have not set it on all your toons' CPs (maybe you do not have enough CPs yet to do this) or you need other slots to be used.
Armory is able to change this without "gold costs" afaik?

All other addons I know, which will do similar tasks, will run into the 3000 gold costs for changing the CPs, afaik:

what is the purpose of this addon? What does a crafting build look like? I have 18 characters with Grand Master Crafter and this is the first time I listen to the need to change the build.
