    FOB is a companion mod to prevent accidental companion interaction.

    Ever clicked to loot something only to find your companion conversation starting because they have leapt in front of you to grab all your attention? Annoying isn't it? (Well, I find it annoying).
    • Prevents any companion interactions from happening
    • Toggle the original functionality or toggle your companion using keybindings
    • Ignore flying insects when Mirri is out, or only allow ones that don't decrease rapport
    • Prevent criminal interactions when Bastian or Isobel is out
    • When you move the reticle over a companion, nothing will happen. Click the action button over a companion, nothing will happen. Bliss.
    • Stop losing Rapport with Bastian when you craft something with cheese in it. FOB will warn you and cancel the crafting of that item. Works with DailyProvisioning too.
    • Alternate summoning message frame
    • Prevent entry to Outlaw's Refuges when Isobel is out
    • Prevent fishing when Ember is out
    • Prevent mushroom gather or recipes with coffee for Azander
    • Block outfit stations and warn of low gear durability for Sharp as Night
    Now, if I could only get them to shut up too...

    I have installed the new version 2.13.4, but I have still the same problem. But now I know, that I only neet to deactivate FOB temporarily for talking the dealer. With an companion-name in the dealer name...
    That's strange, it worked when I tested it.

    I changed to partial matching in that version to improve detection, so I think you can guess what's happening there.

    Good that you gave me the German names as it made it easier to track down and test the problem.
    Should be fixed in v2.13.4 (I seem to have skipped a version somewhere)

    so, Funke = Ember, Funkelne Angebote = Shiny-Trade, Hews Fluch = Hew's Bane

    hi,
    I'm playing on PC the German version. Since Update 2.13.2 I can't talk to the Guild-Dealer "Funkelne Angebote" in "Hews Fluch" (sorry, I only know the German names). With 2.13.1 it is still ok.

    Arrrgh... I just found that, one of my guild mates said "You know Bastian doesn't like stealing" and I slapped my forehead. Came here to apologize for not looking at the settings I had set up myself.

    But today I had a similar but different problem with Bastian Hallix Haven't used him in ages.
    When that companion is out and FOB is active, I can no longer pick npc's pockets (the option does not show) I also can't target them with blade of woe and a few other strange things with stealing. If I put Bastian away OR disable FOB everything works normally.

    That took a while to figure out.

    Interesting - is your reticle still technically over a companion at the time? If so, then any interaction will be cancelled, including the Q key as it's quite tricky reliably cancelling interactions in the first place - they happen so fast it could very well be that the Q key is just a casualty of that.

    Sorry, cancel that. I forgot that I still had FOB disabled. Once I enabled it again, it didn't matter which companion was out. No Eveli interaction.

    Strange one. I was doing the Wrothgar story quest and I got to the final part where you are delivering invitations for something (no spoilers) The quest's name is "Long Live the King"

    One of the NPCs getting an invite was Eveli the Wood Elf inside the Temple of Ire. She had the symbol over her head, but she would not interact with me. Once I disabled FOB Companion Helper, the quest worked fine.

    I am using Sharp-As-Knife as a companion and I start working on the quest to add Mirri. At this point I Activate FOB because with both out they get in the way more than just one of them. Now the problem appears, I can not hold down the Quick Slot button (Q in my case) to select which item to select.
    Deactivating FOB and everything returns to normal. It is repeatable, it also prevents me from talking with Mirri, who is not actually a companion yet. Maybe 1.5 companions confuses something.
    It took me a bit to figure this out.

    Hi, sorry, thought I'd added those to the last update. I'll make sure they are in the next one.

    Thanks for the fix, now everything is fine. I looked through the ru.lua file again and corrected a couple of inaccuracies
