FOB is a companion mod to prevent accidental companion interaction.

Ever clicked to loot something only to find your companion conversation starting because they have leapt in front of you to grab all your attention? Annoying isn't it? (Well, I find it annoying).

Prevents any companion interactions from happening
Toggle the original functionality or toggle your companion using keybindings
Ignore flying insects when Mirri is out, or only allow ones that don't decrease rapport
Prevent criminal interactions when Bastian or Isobel is out
When you move the reticle over a companion, nothing will happen. Click the action button over a companion, nothing will happen. Bliss.
Stop losing Rapport with Bastian when you craft something with cheese in it. FOB will warn you and cancel the crafting of that item. Works with DailyProvisioning too.
Alternate summoning message frame
Prevent entry to Outlaw's Refuges when Isobel is out
Prevent fishing when Ember is out
Prevent mushroom gather or recipes with coffee for Azander
Block outfit stations and warn of low gear durability for Sharp as Night

Now, if I could only get them to shut up too...

I appreciate your comments, thanks. There is an in-game setting to set your companions to 'infrequent' - but Zenimax and I have very different ideas as to what that means.

What do you think you'll make with that? ....

Hi,
FOB relies on comparing text. Because RuEso modifies the text, FOB is failing to match it.

I've added another comparison method for RuEso users. It will be in version 2.3.0. Please try that when it's available and let me if it works for you. It seemed OK in the testing I did.

Please also ensure you have your settings setup using /fob

I fixed version 2.1.0 to 2.2.1, and stopped there for now.

I've done lots of scrying with this enabled and not experienced any problems. Can you be more specific about the problem please? What language client are you using? Does this still misbehave if your other addons are disabled? (might be an addon conflict I need to look at).

So, I want to resummon the previous active companion again. Is it possible to change the dismiss key bind into a unsummon/summon toggle key bind or add a toggle button on screen? It might be related Sheath Weapon. At least my first checks seem to indicate that. When Sheath Weapon is off and the helper is on it seems to work again.
Sheath Weapon will stay off as it also causes some other weirdness.
