Are you fed up of having to use them pesky portals to travel to Eyevea and the Earth Forge?
Well no more!

GuildShrines adds the guild wayshrines onto the World Map for both the Fighters Guild and Mages Guild.

If Eyevea and the Earth Forge have been previously visited, the wayshrines can be used to travel into the Guild areas!

Known Issues:
The option to travel to unknown wayshrines appears using the gamepad UI but obviously doesn't work.

Note:
You must have interacted with the wayshrine in each guild location at least once to unlock them.
You can only travel to the Eyevea and the Earth Forge wayshrines from another wayshrine, you cannot recall directly or jump to other players that are already there.


Additional Settings
  • Allows unknown wayshrines, houses, dungeons and trials to be displayed on the map (off by default but can be enabled in settings)
  • Allows unowned houses on the world map to be hidden

I don't know if there are any other wayshrines that could be toggled like these two guild wayshrines. I guess it's entirely possible but I can't think of any that I encountered when questing.

There's that one particular area accessible via a Dark Brotherhood quest that I hoped might be accessible later like Eyevea and the Earth Forge, but there weren't any wayshrines at the location when I looked.

I do know there are two wayshrines that are unable to be discovered -- maybe possibly planned to be added by ZOS but then changed at some point in development.

When I tested, I was able to unlock the wayshrine for a character that needed it after using it to travel to a place outside of the Earth Forge.

Eyevea is working okay for you and you're not running any addons that may cause any conflicts?

I'll probably run another character through the mages and fighters guild so I can test this again.

Just tested on my sorc which had the wayshrine undiscovered. Simply approaching the wayshrine doesn't discover it on the map, you must interact with it.



After I interacted with it, I could see it marked on my map as intended -- didn't actually update on the compass, though.

Now I'm able to port in from another wayshrine outside and after re-entering it shows correctly on the compass, too.

Let me know if it still doesn't work for you.

Since the last update this addon randomly and occasionally seems to be causing map pins like HarvestMap and Destinations etc to disappear, after a reload UI. Can't make this bug happen, it only sometimes occurs.

After uninstalling this addon the issue no longer happens.

I've never noticed this myself and have been unable to reproduce it in my game (I use both Destinations and HarvestMap).

Nothing should conflict as far as I'm away and I can't see why this would happen.

I haven't been able to get this mod to work at all. I've visited and used the shrines in both Eyevea and the Earth Forge to port elsewhere, but the shrines for those zones still do not appear on the world map. I can click on the map, in the blue sea, where I know Eyevea should be, and the map for that zone comes up, but the wayshrine icon is absent. I've turned off all of my other map related addons, but that didn't help either.

Any suggestions to troubleshoot this?

Are you using any addons that let you adjust whether houses are visible on the world map?
I'm assuming this is a conflict with an addon that changes that code specifically.

Are you able to give me a list of your addons? Feel free to message me and I'll download them all and try to find anything that's causing a conflict.

Might be something not too obvious. :S

Well through a not very scientific process of random addon disabling/re-enabling, I managed to get your mod to work fine. I couldn't tell you what was causing the actual conflict, but it might have been a map pins lib that I had enabled as a standalone, for whatever reason. Done a lot of deleting and cleaning house since my post, but if I happen to rediscover the true culprit, I'll let you know! Thanks for responding, regardless

Thanks for letting me know that it's now working but if you ever do find out what was causing the problem I'd love it if you let me know!

Would like to fix any potential issues like that.
