    I've been wanting an addon with ability to put @names of friends to filter alerts (show only non-chat alerts for X people). This will get me there.

    Cool, my pleasure. I might add an option to display alerts for guild members by guild in the future, but all in all this is all I wanted.

    Simple addon but very useful The yellow chat messages upon login/logout were becoming excessive - thank you for putting this together!

    Have you made sure the addon is enabled after the update? Can you describe what happens when a friend's online status changes? Do you get a chat text message instead of the notification?

    I don't always have others to test with, so your feedback is appreciated.

    I'm pretty sure it's because of it using libstub and yes i get chat messages instead of it moving the message. Several addons that used libstub were updated to use libchatmessage because supposedly libstub is deprecated (this is only what I have read I'm not a dev). Ones that did use libstub stopped functioning.

    Yes, I noticed the same issue, it has stopped working with the last patch. Like it isn't even there. Messages just go through, and I can't even turn off the notifications. I can't speculate on what caused it though. Maybe it does have something to do with libstub, maybe it doesn't.

    That said, while it was working, it was a great little addon, and I can't quite live without it anymore.

    Like the others said, this addon flatout doesn't work after the update. All friend notifications get printed to chat as if the addon isn't there instead of in the corner of the screen. I updated the API version and the bundled libraries and I still get the same result. The game doesn't think this addon is compatible for some reason. Perhaps, like someone suggested, reworking the code to use that other library might help.

    Agreed. I'd forgotten how irritating it was to see my friends' logging activities fill up my chat. I'm really keen for this to start working again.

    Alright, good to see feedback from more than one user. I'll go over it soon and post again and update.

    EDIT: Well, I'm very glad there's quite a bunch of you enjoying this addon, as it took quite a while to figure this out. Apparently both the new patch and LibChatMessage were interfering

    I took this opportunity to also fix the login notification (did not show character name,) and clarified what the settings menu option does. Enjoy!
